I know this kinda avoids the purpose of your poll but, I voted Other because I think only generic public forums with the standard fanboi/troll/contestwinner browsing the forums 4-8hours a day is a good explanation of why AoC seems to be not doing so well. Talking to actual players, I rarely hear anything bad, or any bad news at all lol, it's usually thumbs up
I know a buddy of mine wants to see stargate: worlds, so maybe i could've voted that
"Sometimes, things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. People are basically good. Honor, courage, virtue mean everything. Power and money, money and power mean nothing. Good always triumphs over evil. Love, True Love Never Dies." Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?
None. I was already in AoC closed beta so I knew it wasn't that great on release. It might get better later on.
But honestly, I've lost faith in MMO's ever since SWG. It truly was the last good sandbox (not that sandbox = greatness, like DAoC, but ya) MMO and every single one coming out bores the hell out of me with their lack of creativity and lack of freedom. It's really depressing.
The only games I'm looking forward to for this whole entire year is Spore, MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, and Left 4 Dead.
SO why are you still here? o.O you know there is tons of RPG while you can sink your time in if you don't play MMO for communication with others.
Because it's entertaining to talk about the MMOs and I'm thinking about re-rolling on Eve Online again since I rolled an Amarr a long time ago. Yuck...Amarr...
Happily playing AOC and still waiting to get my hands on Warhammer been waiting awhile for this game don't care how much I'm enjoying my current game I want warhammer.
I'm not looking forward to any anymore. I knew I'd give AoC a try, but I was never really excited about playing it. Glad I didn't get my hopes up.
Besides, ever since I put together a game idea of my own, it's hard for me to get excited about anything else. For the good of the MMO world, I must try to get this game made.
Other. Whatever Age of Conan's first expansion will be is what I'm hopeful for the most.
If I lose interest before then, I'll re-hype myself on Warhammer probably. I require games that receive a lot of commercial hype; 'cause it makes it easier to convince my friends to play. The accessibility of low system requirements too makes it easier for me to invite 'em without fearing their PCs would blow up. The latter point ranks Warhammer up some.
I can see Age of Conan holding me a long while though.

So that means you are not looking forward to playing any? I don't quite understand.
That's correct. I have a vague understanding of games that are forthcoming in the near future, and I wait until either the open beta or the final release to take my first look at the game.
I don't have any interest in the partisanship of fans, the daydream blogs of developers, or the poisonous cynics. I will evaluate the game on its merits, and the only way I know to do that is on a copy I can play. Until I can verify with my own eyes, I don't want to know about it.
The only game I'm looking forward too is Stargate's World. I'm not a fan of the series and barely remember the movies but I've been following the website and so far I like what they have in mind. Besides the sci-fi theme the community there seems quite mature. And if Ryzom ever comes back I'd give it another try.
I'm looking forward to Darkfall and I'm heading to the convention type thingy for Warhammer on June 14th. I haven't read much about either game though to be honest. Aside from MMO's I'm really looking forward to Spore and Fable 2.

Bought AoC. Do not know what to say ....... , game is ermm, christ it looks strange sometimes, it is strange, sometimes it smells.
Next or rather previous game I am waiting is TCoS. Maybe finally someone is going to create some cool, playable game.
At moment I will share time between beta WAR and free month period left in AOC.
