Question concerning the European launch

On September 16th, FFXI will be launched in Europe and as a diehard FF fan I will probably buy it and play it at least untill WoW comes out.

I know that you can't choose your server when starting out so my questoin is as follows:
Will there be specific euro-servers?
Will Europeans have to deal with the fact that they're going to play with americans and japanese players who are already way ahead?

Not that I mind playing with americans or japanese but I would hate to have my newbie questions ignored because everyone else has been playing forever and way ahead of me.

i have seen alot of nice people on here. i am on mid server< name is moonknight> i have been playing for 5 days i am new to game. alot of people told me if i need anything < ingo wise > they told me to talk to them. so ya that was alot of people. and then i joined a linkshell. alot of nice people there. they know i am new and try to work woth me the best they can.
