Hi, I was thinking of possibly upgrading my PC a lil, but, I dont know how to!

I did a scan with belarc and my motherboard is a Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5B Rev 1.xx

Bus Clock: 200 megahertz

BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 1102 01/30/2007

Atm I have a 1.8ghz dual core, 2 gigs of ram and an 8600GT, but I dont know if I have any more RAM slots, what cards I can upgrade to, or what processors I can upgrade to.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Check this software http://www.lavalys.com/ it's called Everest... you can get all information you need about your hardware (manufacturer, model and stuff)... once you get it, you can check on their sites for the manuals... take a bit, but is the fastest way to gather all your puter information at once.

It depends on what you want to do.  If it's gaming I would go with a better video card.  If not, your system should be fine the way it is.

you need to research.... with the motherboard model, go to the manufacturer web site and look it up. then go back to your report and keep going with the analysis... let me know if you need any extra help.
