in Anarchy Online
i cant log in it says both rubi-ka 1 and rubi-ka 2 are down, something up with my client launcher or the servers?

    Servers are currently down for a server and client update. They're estimated to open in about 90 minutes from the moment of this post.

    They are launching the expansion Alien Invasion today. Servers will (according to plan) be up again in about 2 hours

    A right royal pain in the ass if you don't intend to be playing Alien Invasion at all.

    I really dont see why a game needs so many expansions especially as I am quite happy with Classic AO for now.

    Funcom ballsed up a special event last night, which in my humble opinion wasnt that much of a special event. They gathered people at a few places just to plug the Alien Invasion expansion ... big deal ... and they ended up causing major problems in a few zones. My client shut down on me twice last nigth because of that.

    Maybe they were stress testing image but they failed miserably as it was quite obvious it would be lag city gathering all those bods in one place at once. Good move Funcom ... image

    Hope you guys enjoy Alien Invasion, but personally I don't really know what the big deal is.

    I like expansions it keeps a game make you want to keep coming back for more, and makes the game more fun to say the least. It also gives something for the makers to do image

    Sure, but im just giving you my opinion I never said I disagreed with expansions, I just fail to see why I need the expansion as theres still so much I have to learn about Classic AO before I move on.

    Maybe in a few months I will consider moving to an expansion but for now i'm set with Classic image

    ya give it a bit and you may be willing to move, i got Sl not to long ago, will prly get AI soon for the hell of it
