There was only 2 games that i have been waiting for, Age of Conan and Warhammer Online. HOWEVER, the most awaited game i have to say has to be Warhammer Online as i have not really heard any bad reports about this game (as of yet) apart from it looking too much like world of warcraft (big deal, aint something to complain about) the game plays completly differant to wow. Age of Conan, since reading some testers reports, the most off putting line has got to be - **potential to be just another vanguard release**. This came from 2 differant sites (here and 1 other) by 5 difefrant posters that were backed up by quite a few other posters who did confirm what the OP's had said. Yes the game has been postponed since but that line certainly did put me off. Either a chance at personally taking a look at the game to see what it is like BEFORE having to purchase the game OR wait 2-3 months after release and hear from reports and feedback (which would have to be high) mediocre or lower would mean the game is shit. Risky move this for 3reasons, people who dont like the game or have a gripe with it would say things, people who dont want more on their servers cos its virtually full say bad things to keep others away and finally, any new mmorpg could take that waiting player away.
Anyways most anticipated game for me = Warhammer Online (aka W.A.R).
I was really looking forward to AoC, but with all the crap they are pulling atm (paid "Open Beta"...please) i am kust gonna pass on it, Hopefully Warhammer delivers, but i am not holding my breath for games anymore, i have been turning blue for years now.
3)WAR-(would be higher if it wasn't built around PvP but I read that this may be a myth and the PvE content will be more prevalent than the salivating PvP'ers think)
Also, if WoW does something different in coming expansions I'd check it out but for now I'm over it.
very much doubt blizard will do anything differant with new expansions/content release's.
Pretty much set in thier ways, new content = new rep grinding to do. new expansions = wipe out all previous game stuff and start over from scratch for rep building and all. All over again.
This is why i have grown completly bored of WoW, like soo many other people there, and we know what to expect from blizard in the future too.
Still, wont be going for AoC untill it has been confirmed worthy of purchasing (or i see it first hand) time, 2-3mths after release. (its the reports i have read already that hold me back for this decision)
Warhammer, posibility of pre-ordering it, still would liek to have some first hand experiance before purchasing. only bad things i have heard about it is the graphical stuff being too much like warcraft is. I can put up with that if the gameplay is good enough.
As for anything else comming up, i aint looked into them at all. Apart from some that have been hearsay for the past several yrs (darkfall) and highly doubt this will even come out anymore, even if it did, it would suck both graphically and in playability (old and outdated). Thus that is no longer even considered on my list.
Glad i was able to look at PoTbs during a beta phase. Sent in loads of bug reports and am now just getting e-mails back in reply saying thanks, we looked into that and have a fix comming out soon OR a fix was done in the previous patch LOL. like as if a care about that game anymore. I didnt purchase it because it was very much lacking and found wanting, not to mention boring.
Lotro, was ok for a possible stop off and play now and again (lifeline possibly 3-6mths) quick short fix game to play. Mayvbe even to take a few mths off and then go back for another 2-4mth stint. What put me off was the actual monthly fee (also put several others off too). It was too high for what the game had to offer. Not that it wasnt a bad game, but once you hit max lvl that was it, game over, re-roll another toon and start over. £9.50 ($18-$20) a month too high, would have paid £7-($14-$16) maximum for it. Mentioned this on beta forums, had back-up and people who disagreed, like all game chats that go on. Everyone has their own opinions and price's they wont move beyond.
1)Stupid class names like Minstrel and Loremaster. WTF are they??!! Trying too hard to be different, backfired
2)Horses as only means of transportation. The ones you hired to go from one place to another ran a path that was clearly someone controlling it with a keyboard; straight too far, overcorrection right, correction left, repeat cycle, etc.
3)Kinships?? Again, trying too hard to be different. I just can't get excited about joining a kinship, sorry.
They botched LOTR like they botched D and D. Someone should take away their MMORPG license.
There used to be a number of titles on my most anticipated list. Now, however, that list has dwindled to none. I will keep my eyes on the genre hoping for something that will pique my interest but they all seem to be shallow impersonators of their single player brethren.
I've been waiting for Warhammer Online for years, but sinec Age of Conan is going retail soon, I'll give that a try and see if it lives up to the hype.

Played LOTRO for a month or so, could be a good game if the Devs added:
1) decent magic using classes
2)Better looking gear and toons
3)A $@#$%@^@%load more endgame content.
And then nerfed:
1)Stupid class names like Minstrel and Loremaster. WTF are they??!! Trying too hard to be different, backfired
2)Horses as only means of transportation. The ones you hired to go from one place to another ran a path that was clearly someone controlling it with a keyboard; straight too far, overcorrection right, correction left, repeat cycle, etc.
