I hope this game is Released soon?
I have been following DF for a couple of days and really hope it will release soon?
If anyone can provide any background information on release dates it would be useful...
(Ignore the footer below , Haven't a clue how it got there. This thread is for Majestico just to rate how MAture the MMORPG community is with respect to DF, lets see how many people can answer this question without the required info)

i can't provide background for the game , there is a faq somewhere but i can't find me the official site.
(i am blind to supporters sig and info given anyway so no waste time to tell me what i know better mmkaythx)
DarkFail must be vapor and Adventurine fails.
Many here on the forum says that, must be true.
Darkfall was originally supposed to be released in 2003. It has been delayed 5 years already, and is not even in beta yet. So don't expect it to be released any time soon. (See I answered his question, and I didn't attack him personally like people in the official forums did)

And what is wrong twith the quality of the content?
First sentence lacks of remarks and explanation about company changed and with new owner the project changed. What you describe as time in delay is in really time in development and/or beta testing.
Striked throu sentences are entirely wrong.
If you look at your post you get now why only F+.
I see this as a game that is fun to muse about. Everyone seems to project what the want form a MMO onto Darkfall. Until I see some hardcore proof that this game is going to be pushed to beta, I see it as something fun to talk about, but should be taken as a amusement. Does this game have huge potential theoredically, of course. However, we should know by now to be cautious with this game.

Yah you are probably thinking of a different game that begins with Dark, i made the same mistake its ok. On a different note... mmorpg.com says 2008 is when it will be released, gunna have to be happy with that, i am.
Its easy to pee in the toilet, but most of us dont.

No beta hasn't started yet. Nobody from the outside is playing this game.
If you prefer the game of 2003 maybe you should ask them if they have a copy somewhere in their archivs and give you exclusively.
But promise that you play only that with the dated graphics and all that what was good back in 2003.
If you that sure about your claims then thats no prob for you. All other play DF of 2008 and ghoul has the whole Agon of 2003 for himslef lol
Will I know one thing, it wasn't Dark and Light. I still have shutters from that game.

Did you ever consider that many say it because it may actually be true?
The naysayers have a couple things on you at this point in time.
1. The naysayers, so far at least, have been correct on everything they have said over these many years. So far to date, that has been true. They could all end up with severe egg on their faces eventually, but, so far the nays have been correct.
2. The fanboys keep defending the game, but there is in reality, little to defend. Hard to shoot when you have no ammunition. Not your fault though. The Darkfall team is providing you with blanks. You fanboys are relying solo on "blind faith" and "hoping" you are correct in the end. That is true, if you give it some thought.
Seriously. What other game EVER has been this close to actual release and still not produced ONE single thing to legitimize their product?
What other game EVER has been this close to actual release and still not had ONE single professional review site have a "sneak peek" at the beta build?
Honestly, how can normal thinking people NOT be skeptical?

How can thinking people believe in darkfall without any evidence? the same way people believe in god without any evidence.which imo is without thinking.

Sure it maybe true and on the other hand we have devs working hard on the game to deliver it, what can be true too , what is smart to hope and to support for a gamer that want to play DF ?

Been correct on what exactly ? we been through many times and the posibility of naysayers been wrong on the most things (not all but the basic ones) are greater then the opposite one.

The naysayers like i said above have have a very basic but very important fact against their claims and that is the developers..if they don't think and believe in developers why they care to discuss at all ? i mean this is very basic...the developers siting on the source and are the only ones with an authentic view on the matters.

All games developed prior to these handout previews, demos, playable scenarios to gamers via magazines and later online download sites ...This for to hype and keep people on the grinder...

skeptical is just to weak to describe the bash on this board towards the developers of the game ...

Cheers the post was a sanity check ... In reality . Don't worry about credibility and try not to become a skeptic it wont help. The post is just a statement no real question just waiting to see the thread unfold and it held together really well. I have what I wanted from this thanks.
COORS tried to not answer the question and just pick so i have one example of someone adding no value. So a little derailment but alll in all people trying without info. The real question can't be answered as the info isn't clearly available...
