All hes saying is that it's not good to have your kids play PC games all day. I did and I probably missed out on a lot in HS. I mean who you are who you are but when I look at my youngest brother, hes 11, and can play Guitar Hero 3 on Expert I;'m thinking, " He really, really needs a new hobby..." Video games are just the next logical step in man's quest to create. Literature describes a world created by the author, movies visually show that world to the viewers and games let you have control in it.
Of course the chance of having a intelligent, quality game are even lower than the chances of a intelligent, quality movie because a shitload of money is invested into computer games nowadays and developers choose the safe, tried way and flood the market with bland, cloned games.
But leading such a crusade against video games is no less foolish than leading one against literature or movies. Get on with the friggin times.
