I know that the min. requirements for game card is a 6600gf. I have a ATI 7200 which I have always been able to play other games on . (WOW, GW, Ect.)
I was wondering on how the ATI cards match up with the GF cards and if I will be able to play with the 7200 or do I need to look into a better card before hand?

that card is mush lower than min. it has no chance
you are focked. get atleast a 8800GT and try to avoid ATI cards if you want to play aoc. the game is "optimized" for nvidia cards.
Grab yourself a geforce 8800 cheap off from Newegg.com. You'll be glad you did.
Thanks! I really did not want to go out and buy the game just to find out that I could not play it.
Guess I will wait a few weeks and look into buying a new card.

Amazing, the difference.
ATI in general is having major issues these days, from piss-poor drivers to cards getting stuck in 2d clocks when playing games.
Are you sure nvidia has 8800gt /gts AGP? iirc best vga nvidia has agp is 7600Gt .Op has radeon 7200 im 99.99% sure it is AGP
Then OP might very well have to buy more than just a new GFX card.
Wonder if the CPU or ram even are enough.... might as well pull a full update on the old rock. x ]

I got to looking today and noticed that I have a 9200 instead of a 7200. I must have replaced it when my MB burned out a few years ago. Is that still too low? I also have a AGP slot ,Oh And ram is not a problem. I have replaced about everything in this computer.
I do know that some people are running AOC on ATI cards

the 9200 card is 100% sure too old... and since you have an old mainboard... seriously dont even think about trying this game out with those specs... you will be dissapointed... you have to fully upgrade your comp... ya sucks but all modern games want higher specs meanwhile.. and sorry but WoW or GW arent modern games anymore...
I wouldn't be too sure that there isn't a 8800 for AGP. Too late for me to check for you but it's worth a peak.
you can get a 3850 agp. and game runs fine on ati
I'm using a Radeon X1600 and the game runs decently, with 4 gb of ram, average of 20 to 31 fps.
I played the game for the first week on a 1900GT and it was quite playable. I think the amount of video memory is making a difference. My 1900 had only 256. With 512 i probably still would use it. Thats why some users of old nvidia 7xxx cards with 512 mb video memory report quite good performance.
Dont get anything below a 8600 GTS.
9200 is like 3x times better than 7200, but is still 3-4 times lower than minimum requirement - this is very outdated video card and even WoW do not run well on it. You need entire new PC (not just video card) to play AOC, and even with that entire new configuration do not expect perfect smoothness.
Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

Yeah I was looking at the recommended requirements last night and my processor is not even good enough. I have a athlon xp 2ghz and I need a 3ghz. I may end up breaking down and buying my brothers spare computer that has a core duo processor in it and getting a good video card to put in it.
