Is going to release Huxley in North America.  This means the game will probably be F2P.  Here is the artical I read.

IRVINE, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE). NHN USA, a subsidiary of NHN, the largest Korean Internet company, announced today that it has secured the rights to publish the long-awaited Huxley in North America and Western Europe. Bringing online gamers everywhere closer to the chance to exercise their fragging skills against thousands of other players in the first twitch-action massively multiplayer online first-person shooting (FPS) game Huxley, the online shooter is slated to arrive on the PC via ijji.com in late 2008.

"Huxley is one of the most anticipated online games currently in development, and we are very excited to bring the triple-A title to Western audiences," said Whon Namkoong, CEO, NHN USA, Inc. "Huxley provides gamers with a unique and compelling experience that gamers everywhere are sure to enjoy. The revolutionary online shooter is a welcome addition to ijji.com, the site where millions of fans can play it later this year."

Huxley is the first massively multiplayer online (MMO) game to combine the twitch-based fast-action gameplay of a first person shooter (FPS) with the cerebral character development of an MMO to deliver an intense and exciting online entertainment experience of a complete MMOFPS. Players will be drawn into the genre-bending game play, riveting cinematic graphics and intricate setting of Huxley, where they will choose between two races, Sapiens or Alternatives and struggle to obtain a powerful energy source while fighting endless battles against the Hybrids, a mysterious third group born of the two races.

Developed by Webzen, Huxley will be released by NHN USA for the PC and be available to play on the publisher's renowned gaming portal ijji.com in late 2008. More information will be available shortly at www.ijji.com.

This is really good news to me. Granted ijji isnt known for top of the line games, but nhn does host lord of the rings in korea.

I remember reading that its supposed to have ingame ads although im not sure if thats korea or usa. If its a f2p top quailty game its going to be huge!

This is better not suck. I hate ijji.com's games. Knowing the company, it will probably be a f2p game with some micropayments with that g coin thingy. They better not ruin it for me.

tbh if its more i might consider killing someone. alot of people have waited 4+ years and to sell a "BFG" for irl money would ruin it, for me the only hope is P2P on ijji, annything else will be a dissapointment.

F2P/item shop  ruins games and no matter what people try to tell themselves THIS IS A FACT.

Retired From: L2, SWG, RFO, WoW, War, Aion
Waiting For: Tera, Blade & Soul, Huxley, SWTOR,

That is  incorrect.... item shop games can be well done.

Take 10six they had random packs of good items for $1.99 and since all items were pvp lootable you could aquire the few special items without paying. All items had a life span too so the market used up the better items causing them to be more scarce.(this also made people keep buying them) Since you couldnt just buy the overpowered item of the week everything stayed balanced. You didnt have to buy the packs to compete but you could buy them if you wanted a small boost.

I know. If it's completely retarded like it takes 100 dollars to buy imaginary currency to buy gear that isn't garbage, I won't touch it. I guess I'll just hope for the best and be glad they are making it to North America.
