From what I've seen/read... it seems awesome. AoC got mad exposure, but this game is hiding in the shadows. Are there any major flaws I haven't heard about yet? Cause I'm DL the game right now to try it out.

I may be wrong, but it appears that Gravity is putting all effort into getting the game ported from the Korean development team in time to meet launch (monetary goals). I expect we'll see a big PR push once the game goes live (mostly because there will be a deficit of players after the initial excitement of launch subsides).
Currently the game that beta testers have explored is about 6-12 months from launch. Races are not well balanced, many skills don't work, DNA (a sort of skill bonus) isn't fully working, bugs are common, content after level 40 is lacking, graphic errors, OS conflicts - the list goes on and on. Content that exists on the Korean site won't be ready in time for launch, so at this point users are in the dark.
It may be that Gravity was counting on players to become fans and promote the game for them. Unfortunately Gravity's rush to launch the game has soured many beta testers. At this point it is hard to say how many people are promoting the game (that are not affiliated with Gravity).
here is my theory for it not being marketed well....its got a MA-17 rating (eventhough the ob was full of 12-14 year olds) with that rating i believe it restricts what sites it can advertise on, or limits how they advertise. could be wrong though...but i think the high gore and horror theme really would restrict its advertising abilities. again just a theory
Not sure what Silverdagger is talking about. The game seems pretty polished IMO. Haven't experienced any crashes or bugs myself.
Why has it not been advertised everywhere? Im not sure, but I would have to take a wild guess and say that it might have something to do with the game still being in development.
Because, IGN and Gamespot don't like games that aren't produced from huge companies that can pay then $1 million for a good review. They also despise mmos. So what outlets are left? MMOSITE, onRPG, and MMORPG.com. There is really no point in advertising to other areas because they usually yield little results for insane cost.
It is being advertised through G4tv. There's a game trailer available in the On-Demand section (cable tv) and I'm sure if you Google you'll find plenty of sites talking about Requiem.
CleffyII, Gravity is a multi-billion dollar corporation (NASDAQ listing). Requiem has been featured on IGN , but you're right about it not being on Gamespot.
As for the game being polished...we've only played the beta which is a buggy and incomplete work in progress. Crashes are still an issue with some Vista users and users with input devices which Hackshield deems incompatible. If anyone thinks I'm overstating the facts, I invite you to visit the game's official forum and decide for yourself.

[Edit: What we can expect to see and how well it functions is a game of wait and see. Optimistic people are buying subscriptions and counting the days...]
Because its another Item mall grinder?
And I think the game isn't doing all bad, ATM the servers are a ghost town because the wipe is announced to be in a couple days, so most people just quit early to start over with more energy.
And yes, the setting of the game could be a hard factor in the game future population, not all people are fond of gore and half naked chicks running around.
Well, as an adult, I wouldn't mind having a more adult content. I just heard about this game to be honest, but it sounds good. I like the horror element. I'll keep watch on it.
