I dont even know where you can start when talking about this game.  Its just 100% poor.

Slow gameplay.

EXTREMELY outdated graphics engine

Same old Same old. 

Horribly unoriginal storyline.

This game doesnt add any new elements that arent in every other MMORPG out there.

 

Im glad i got a chance to try the open beta, because i may have made the horrible mistake of purchasing this game.  Maybe it will appeal to a certain crowd, although i dont know what crowd that could be.  If i'm totally missing something thats supposed to be fun and original about this game, please fill me in.  Insightful comments need only apply.

    2. Yeah right, what about buying another comp ? huh ? I personnaly find it more appealing than Lineage 2.
    3. True, but it's an MMORPG, you can't be that original, look et EQ2 and WoW, same old same old.
    4. Totally wrong, the world and the storyline is one of the most unique out there, no Orcs, no Trolls, only home made races and world. Did you even took the time to take a look at it ?

    Hehe poor graphics?? ya jokin right?

    Its worth paying, just to run through the water sheesh - best graphics ive seen yet in a game!

    The races are original, the weapons quirky and fun and include wooden pistols! 

    Its a very promising game.

    Its slower than most MMORPGs which is why i brought that up.

    I feel like im moving in slow motion the whole time.

    And yes the graphics are poor.  Why would i be joking? Like some previous posters said, there are games that are 1-2 years older than this game that look much more impressive.  Maybe its the style of art this game has, but either way its unappealing in my view. 

    WoW is pretty unoriginal, i will give you that.  EQ2 is the first true 3rd gen MMORPG and is adding all kinds of new features unseen together in another MMORPG anywhere, i dont think your statement on it holds water.  But at least you admitted ryzom isnt original.

    Im sure i didnt play Ryzom enough to form a completely perfect vision of the game, but, If a game doesnt appeal to me after 1-2 hours of playing, its not worth it. 

    The creatures and races in the game appear to be thought up during a coffee break or a bathroom break.  Unimpressive background storyline for the universe.  I guess if you arent in the United States this game might be more appealing, but over here we have higher standards.

    What?! Have you looked at screenshots or actually the game? The game is beautiful and full of enrichment. Poor graphics?! Ha ha ha. Seriously, give it a try, you won't be disappointed, I wasnt :D

    I gave it a try.  Thats why i posted about how sloppy the game seemed to be.  I really dont understand when you compare the screens of this game to most MMORPGS over the past year or two how you can think it looks good.  Anyway, to each his own i suppose.

    Ok, sorry, but...


    THIS GAME IS REALLY FUCKING BAD.

     

    The interface is AWFUL. The movement and combat are slow and horrible. The item and crafting system is pathetic. The graphics are bad, the game is the worst MMORPG I've ever beta'd or played.
