I recently started playing and am having a blast, but I would like a few questions answered which would ensure that I stay with DDO.
How is the end game like? I dont care too much about this but I like to have a sense of accomplishment.
Is there any sort of PVP or GVG? Till now I have only been dungeon crawling so I dont know about these aspects of the game.
If there is PVP is it balanced?
How are the raids? I dont care much about it.....But I would like it to be difficult and fun and not boring like most in WoW are.
I have seen quite a lot of char customization and I quite like it but I would like to know how much variation does armor have?

I haven't done too much pvp, but it basically is done in taverns brawl or capture the flag style. As for balance between classes.... not really. This game is based on D&D and the classes are based on filling a role in a group so they are not balanced for pvp. Thats not saying you couldn't build any class you wanted for pvp, but its definately not the focus of this game.
Raids in my experience are just as fun as the other dungeons. Of course they are done on a larger scale, but basically the have the same style.
There are a lot of different armor options. Recently the devs said there will be options to dye certain pieces of your armor in future updates.
Hope you continue to enjoy your time at ddo.

PvP is only balanced if you arrange some fight with against similar character, or with your own custom rules. Overall PvP isn't very popular, because there's not really anything to gain from it, and it takes much effort if you want to set up something more advanced than a dumb tavern brawl. I guess there must be some guilds/people organizing PvP stuff, but they must be well hidden...
Besides gathering favor that you missed while leveling up (by repeating quests up to the Elite difficulty setting), end game usually means raiding in order to acquire some rare powerful items. I personally have a lot of fun doing this (and I'm mostly pugging raids - you don't need a powerful guild to do it), but some people get bored of raids and just roll new characters to level up.
