Please help, need info on patch size for new install

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Hi Guys,

Just purchased Vanguard retail 2 dvd box, as it was on speciall..and always wanted to try it out.

One problem, Im limited to only 15 gb download per month (In Australia, its the way it works down here)...

 

I hear the initial patch is big, I need to know how big a download Im looking at ..so as to not blow my monthly download allowance. Ive tried searching the forum, but cant really get a figure.

 

Im on 1.5 adsl internet connection, so if you cant give me a data amount, I'd be happy with a rough estimation of time..I can work it out from there. Really want to install the game :)

 

Thanks, any advice would be appreciated.

    Took me something less than 5 hours on my laptop,with 1 mb limit download ..

    Do the maths :>

    My maths is poor, but would that be about a 3 gig download for the patches?

    IIRC, the game was around 19 gigs total, so you should be okay. If you do have to split up the downloads, use one of your buddy keys to start the download process, so you won't get charged for a month you can't play.

    Thanks for the advice guys, Im going for the patch download as I type this. 3 Gig isnt too bad.

    Sorry bud, I just checked my VG folder and its approx. 27 gigs, thats including the 1000's of screenshots I have too, but still its a big file.
