I am incredibly bored and just quit FFXI within a week of purchasing it. I am looking to play any MMO that's free (except Runescape) or even a trial. Anyone have any ideas and want to level together? Let me know.

Damn you only gave FFXI a week... I was actually thinking of starting that back up again cuz no other MMO has caught my attention span for as long as that game did. I played it for 2 years. But yeah Ive been trying to find a decent F2P game too. Havent really found one thats been decent....... I just downloaded Cabal and it looks kinda cool but the game keeps crashing.
Let me know what you gonna play. Might be interested, bored here also

Anyways if you want to play a F2P I'd suggest Florensia. I am downloading it atm and let see how it goes.
So I have problems with the lack of refresh rate option on Regnum and can't play at my desired resolution so Idk If im gonna still play or not....... So now Im gonna try Rohan. Yeah I know Im a hella picky since they are free to play .
And on another note I still dont see how Minions of Mirth is high up there. I know people say its the game play that is good about it. Yes I only played for 5 minutes but when you shoot an arrow out of nowhere and there no sound half the time when you hit a guy, that is just insane. Im all about first impressions if a game doesn't grab me right in the first 10 minutes chances are it won't get any better.
So true.....My attention span is about 15 mins max if the game doesnt impress me, I simply delete it.
I have tried each and every famous P2P out there other than FF XI and Vanguard and they were all able to hold my attention for about 5 days but after that bleh! They are all the same stupid WoW copies. COH and COX is different but the city environment gives me a headache. I began playing MMORPG's with Ragnarok online and loved it but after playing that game for so long I cant bare to play games like WoW which anyone can solo till level cap. Ragnarok had a lot of class customization and there were tons of things to do in it. Above all the PVP was amazing and I have yet to experience anything like War of Emperium in any other game.
So I am going to give the F2P's a go. I tried Regnum online but the chat system sucked and hardly anyone spoke english. I am going to try Florensia then Rohan. If you want to start these games together and group up and stuff send me a PM.
Yeah there are a lot of copycat games. If I get a new computer I might go back to vanguard cuz AOC really let me down cuz of all the instancing that I heard they use. I havent really gotten to play Rohan yet just made a character and It seems to be a decent game so far I guess i'll find out tonight.
I played Rohan since release date, grinded for 4 days and got to level 40, then my vent group and I quit. The game is good at first I guess. It's the generic f2p wow-esque mmorpg. I'd wait a month or two before playing Rohan, since it was just released. The camera is lacking effort, potion glitches when I was there, and worse -- it takes 15 minutes to walk to the potion shop and back from the spawn where you use a TOWN SCROLL. I swear to god, if the characters were running any slower they'd be going backwards. There's a bridge you have to cross before enterring the town, with the developers seeing it be fit to make it 5 football fields in length. If you're going to be playing this game, buy rolls of tape to hold the up arrow with. You'll need it.
