So i really give up on codemaster after no reply from them on my status and i would like to know if its possible for me to get copy of US version somehow? i would prefer to play on US servers. The only problem is getting my hands on the US version. Any suggestions from the community or people who live in Europe and are playing on US servers.
Because i really really want to play LOTR. I am a big fan. Is it safe to buy digital keys online? any one knows any links to such sites which are reliable? thank you.

So I have played LOTRO on the US servers when I have been overseas (Singapore, Spain and Germany). I have had no problems. The problem would be to get the game. I am surprised places like EB Games would not ship overseas, as you would be paying for that. I thought LOTRO had a Free trial version you could download from their site.
You live in EU? I would imagine it's safe to buy key online since it costs like 10$ now days? You do know that you are probably playing the game while pretty much everyone on the server is sleeping/working?
I maybe wrong but i seem to remember that you can buy keys online directly from turbine or is it midway. If you already have the free trial downloaded all you need is the key. Midway is the publisher for the US version. Maybe they can help you in getting a key.
I finally managed to get my european version. Hurray.
Its all good now. Just a little confused about which european server to choose. Is hard to find info on european forums regarding what servers are most populated.
That is great to hear. Happy playing.
Well, Snowbourne and Evernight were opened first, and so they are usually said to be most populated and have the most number of veteran players, Eldar came a bit later and Gilrain was opened last of the non-roleplaying servers (someone correct me about this if I remember incorrectly), and Laurelin is the role-playing server if that is your preference.
At this point in time there's probably not too much difference between the servers, you'll probably find a healthy population on whichever you choose, or at least you will in the autumn when people return from summer vactation and such.
Snowbourn is totally crowded. Not sure about levels 0-20, but Bree is bustling all the time and I run into players absolutely everywhere I go. Do not be mislead by the starter instances (levels 1-6). Once you're in Comba and then Bree, you'll see the real picture.
See you ingame
