Looking for a pay to play MMO to have fun

PnHobbitPnHobbit Member CommonPosts: 195

I'm looking for an MMO that allows long-term goals without requiring one to sell their soul to succeed.

I don't want to grind, I'd like there to be a decent story and lore or something more convincing than "go kill 20 rats" all the time. The game shouldn't be a dead community and should be a lot of fun for someone willing to join small groups.

City of Heroes or Lord of the rings

I also want to qualify that the setting is not as important as how convincing the setting is. I feel I can appreciate sci fi as well as fantasy but the better the art is at portraying the setting matters most.

I'll look into the three listed above and see what their sites say. Thanks.

If you have 30 minutes to spare or 6 hours. each time you log on the game adepts itself to your OWN playing styles. Battlegrounds, normal dungeons, heroic dingeons, daily quest, solo play, arena play, e-sports arena play. WotlK comes out in 4/5 months and will add balanced world PvP you can hop in at every time.
    Most polished MMORPG ever.
You name it the game has it.
The result? 62.2 % marketshare. of which half in US and EU.
Most other MMO's are at sub1% to 2%marketshare.

    Just check it out.
People at MMORPG.COM hate the game because it has a monopoly position. But they just don't see WHY 10.7 million play it - the hard way OR the soft way.
