Well I applied to the beta and recently got an email saying
From now on, you will be able to enter the noisy and furious world of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. The Old World is being torn apart: you will have to choose your side very quickly and join the army of Order or the army of Destruction. Whether you fight with the Greenskins, the High Elves, the Dwarfs, the Dark Elves, the Empire or the Chaos, your goal will remain the same: become the most glorious warrior on the battlefield and destroy the capital of your enemy!
Does this mean I have been let in? If so, how do I get on, if not, how will I know if I have?

Mine said this.. But this was sent out in February of 2008. So you might want to check yourself in the BETA FORUM.

We have recently performed maintenance on the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Beta Center and need your help to test it!
We are requesting that all current beta testers please update their DirectX Diagnostic Files (DxDiag), so we can ensure that our records are current and that the changes we have made are working properly for all Beta Center users.
To access the beta center visit: http://betacenter.eamythic.com/login.php
Your login is the email address you provided when you first signed up for beta using the Beta Center. If you cannot remember your password, click on the "Forgot Password?" link. An email will be sent to your valid Beta Center email address with instructions on changing your password.
How to change your DxDiag
Once you have logged into your beta center account at the bottom of the main page, you will find a section called Beta Center File Information.
Below that, you will find your DxDiag information with a link to "Update Your DxDiag File" on the right-hand side.
Click the link and follow the instructions on the page to ensure that the correct file is properly generated and uploaded.
That's all there is to it!

Just go to their website and check your beta status there it will tell you when you applied and what your current status is.

I was thinking more like a beta center link of some sort, similar to the NA site.

Well, I got that from reading different forums long ago
For example, I know I will get an e-mail letting me know I'm invited to closed beta (which didn't happen yet).
What I was asking (what OP also asked), is where I can check a status of my beta application, like "pending" or "active" or "rejected".
Besides, I got my CE preorder box, and I have 3 codes which are waiting to fill them in, to unlock goodies in a beta center account (something NA beta center site has already, if I understood correctly).
I've found this also, which didn't answer my question, and unfortunately, trying www.war-europe.com/betacenter is forbbiden at the moment (been trying it for quite a while now).

Check under the downloads tab after logging in. If you see the beta client there, you're in. If not, sorry, try again and join the rest of the crowd.
But your e-mail sounds like there may be a possibility.
As for the other one, with the DirectX file, that was a misshap on Mythic's behalf. They screwed up, the e-mail was only meant to be sent to people currently in the beta only, but there was a mistake and a few others got them by mistake. I got one myself, and as you can clearly see, I'm not in beta.
Found this link on Warhammer Alliance forums: your war-europe.com profile page should have this option (as Murais explained above me) at the Downloads tab.
So EU site doesn't have a beta app status page. I wonder if there's a closed beta forum for EU testers, or they all go in one place.
There is no status page for EU players. Keep checking "Community" tab every now and then. You will notice a change once you get into closted beta

If you get into the EU beta, you will receive a mail from GOA (not EA Mythic). The contents of this mail will make it perfectly clear that you got in, and it will tell you what to do next.
If you get in, congratulations and welcome - I've been a part of the EU beta for almost a year now
Dang it! I'm still hoping to get in - but nothing.
I keep checking my beta application status and it still says "Applied".

No. We don't know when open beta starts. If you want to try to get into the closed beta, check the official warhammer site:

There will be NO public beta of WAR. they've stated their open beta just means the NDA will be lifted, it will still be invite only. anyone who pre-ordered the CE will get in, along with a few other promotions. besides that they will still invite people as they like, just as with closed beta.
Sorry, no free trial beta for WAR.

No one really knows when they will announce it. I can tell you yes it is awesome, won t say anymore:)
There have been people (at least the stories go) that were invited but never got the email. At which point if you log into your betacenter account often.. you'd notice the ability to do things you couldn't before. Such as set up a beta forum account etc
As to the email.. rumor has it it would start something like..
"Prepare to join the WAAAGH!
Congratulations, you have been selected to join the Warhammer Online Beta Test."
Which if you believe rumors.. would make it pretty clear if you got in.
