When will they bring back "sexy"?

After all the Conan dupe and boredom (aka Age of Instances), I would like to know when they plan to add new customization to VG, if so? Anyone?

I don't think that has even crossed the developers minds yet. If you want sexy, go look check out the lingerie section of the Sears or JC Penny catalog.
Actually, they had customization, but removed it to make helms functional and are working on getting it back up, but no dates.

As i see it right now - Vanguard is "Arrested Development"
It could easily be the best MMO we are all looking for , if SOE invested just a little bit into it....just a very little
1. Rebuild character models (they did it for EQ2 - SOGA models) No big deal
2. Redo some of game textures - no biggie
3. Rework some of player animations
4. Re-release the game under new name "Vanguard Evolution" or something like that
5. Make free trial

Easily enough to compete with Age of Instances and beat it deep into the dust
actually, some of the textures need some love; many "wall" and "stone" textures, as well as certain metal armor ones, just don't cut it. They look too cartoony...
You can perpetually change the look of your characters in VG. You always have the option before login.

it hasn't changed; you can still edit your character whenever you want in the char. selection screen...
I honestly think Vanguard has a chance right now in the MMO market, its a great game now, and had it been released, the way it is now, it would have been a huge hit.
I do agree character models, Especially, eyes (god what were they thinking!) need to be redone.

Generally speaking, when you concern yourself with speed you sacrifice quality, especially artistically.
I would like to see quality over speed. If that means I gotta wait an extra month or two, oh well... we have all seen the results of speed in this industry far to many times. The game isn't going anywhere.
I already don't like the helmets and I don't want to see more quick fix junk thrown in.
If you listen to silius's interview you will understand there is a lot of "serious" work going into the game.

‘Sexy” will be (in-part) brought back around the same time as the next Game Update. The artists have put the finishing touches on male males (who are certainly a lot beefier) and are adding curves to the females models as I type!
Players will also have a few more options for facial customization

They're already doing all of those, with the exception of 2, which is unnecessary as the textures in Vanguard are great already, and 4, which would be a bad idea because people would perceive it as an attempt to 'hide' Vanguard's poor launch which rather than the more effective strategy of openly and honestly saying "yeah, the launch was bad but the game has improved greatly."
Edit: To be clear, I'm in favor of a relaunch but I think a name change is a terrible idea.
We the people, are tired of launches. We don't want a launch anymore... we have come to expect the worst from them.
We want a game, a good game. So much so that Vanguard is appealing, and they have come along way since launch. So much stability, improvements, and just... better overall.
"Re-Launching" would not be a good way to do it. Trials, a bit more advertising in the right areas, probably a few interviews and demonstration videos... and things will likely do well for them.
By "a few", can we assume the original customization options will be restored plus a few extra choices, or is it 'a few' extra choices compared to the currently available ones??
My God you are a glutton for punishment. How many times now have you resubbed to VG only to leave in disgust? You are completely bi-polar with this game and I suggest to you that no changes ever to the game are going to make you happy with it. It doesn't matter when, how or if they add the customization, you are still going to end up hating VG all over again (if your past history is any indication).
In any case, it wouldn't be so bad, if you didn't wear your VG heart on your sleeve, but unfortunately, you subject us in the forums to all your ups and downs with the game as well.
Can you make me a promise? when they add the new customization, and you re-sub, and then eventually cancel in disgust, will you promise not to come to this forum with a lengthy diatribe about how VG has ruined gaming forever and how you will never be re-subbing again?
If that's too much to ask, just cut and paste one of your old 'I've had it with VG' posts or perhaps just link us to them and say 'ditto' at the end.
Sorry man, not trying to be mean, just trying to say, the game is going to function in the same way with or without 'sexy' customization, and you hated it on multiple occasions for that - having a sexy character won't be the overhaul of game features and mechanics that you would need for it to be a fun game for you.
