lol, good luck with that, from what i understand Mythic is planning on dealing with cowards who try to go to low level zones to gank also, only there you get morphed into a chicken and get the crap beaten out of you, lol.
Do I get it right? If you are too high level you can't enter certain zones? That's kinda anti-productive isnt it? It's not about ganking, I always enjoy in every game to run certain zones if I haven't seen them for long. Closing zones to prevent ganking? Are they out of their mind?
Lack of information is bad, if Funcom had time it should give information to its players, otherwise the great intellect present on the Internet comes up with all kinds of funny and stupid interpretations.
I have not heard that going to back to Tortage is blocked, if it is then it is a new thing. To stop bullies going back to gank.
Of course with a little thought and information you can see that this is just a temp measure whilst they implement the fugative system.
However even if people are blocked what's the big deal! Why would you ever want to go back there, and everyone complaining about it has a bad case of sour grapes! You cry cos you have something taken away from you that you have no use for and will never use, of course unless you are a ganker!
There is no real need to go to help a guildie even as it is mostly single player at the begining with a bit of multiplayer, so guildies wont need help!

That's no excuse to block people from using content. This is a TERRIBLE way of preventing ganking. And why even have a FREE FOR ALL server if they restrict it? This game gets worse every day.
As far as I have heard, the only places that will be blocked from the characters are the starting areas past a certain level, everywhere else will be open. It's an extremely effective way of preventing ganking because there is no use for the starting zones for a higher level other than to gank. What could you possibly need the starting area for again? If you want to enter them again so badly than make a new character.
Also, FC has never, not once, ever called their PVP and RP-PvP servers FFA. They have never been legitimately free for all, they have stated that they would have a system against ganking before release and that there would be rules. The only reason people call the servers as of now FFAPvP is because, at the moment, there really isn't any ruleset for PvP.
Gankers, it gets worse from here; you're going to have to do menial tasks for no exp for killing lower levels than you without cause. I think it's a great idea, just hope they can put it into place sometime eventually and make it function the way it is meant to.

unlucky. you should do some WAR research, war is even more anti gank. in aoc you will still be able to kill anyone but there will be outlawed and suffer consequences. in war thigh level players get leveled down when in low level areas to make it fair!
