Me and my friends is all hooked on AoC. The atmosphere is great and I enjoy every minut of it.
The story line is fantastic and the graphics very nice, I dont have a very good gaming rig (a iMac 24") but I get enough framerate and quality to have a good time. I hope my wife doesnt get mad because this game is stealing alot of time now.

Your (and mine also) opinion isn't universal, some people might like it, specially the first days.

Pssssh. Do not post such things. We all know AoC sucks, is completely unfinished and no sane person could possibly ever enjoy it.
Come on, just read these forums a little and you will soon realize that AoC will lose about 80% of their subscriptions by the end of the first month. It'll be free to play in no time (I predict half a year at most), and the community is horrible to begin with.
Promised features were never implemented till release, which makes the rest of the game totally unimportant and frankly, boring. The quests stop past 40 and you are forced to grind all the way up to 80, if you want to. Crafting is completely broken and doesn't work. Player Cities are completely broken. Battle Keeps do not work at all, evident because there are none yet!
There are no dungeons in the game. There is no raid content, so there's no PvE content. PvP is a joke, because you can't loot the other players.
I think I covered it all, right?

Actually I wager that the Sentiment of the OP is of the majority of AoC players. Its well known the majority of forum posters are a small fraction of the playerbase. The fact you feel the need to flame a Pro-AoC post suggests that you sense your ANTI-AoC message is not taking hold

I love it too! So do most of my friends. Needs some polish, but overall it's a lot of fun, and will hold me over for a long time while I wait on some god like perfect sandbox mmo to come out.

See, MMORPG.com forums used to be a place where people who played a game could come and discuss that game.
Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Due to absolute failure of the moderation of this site, trolls and haters have been allowed to set up camp here to flame and harass ANY fan of the game.
Positive posts are stomped into the ground so that these morons can continue their ceaseless campaign of bashing a game that most of them havn't even played (as evidenced by the content of many of their posts).
So, my advice to you is to find another site to post at. It's what I did, after years of coming here.
So true. These boards have the worst rap of any when it comes to MMO gaming. Find a game you like and get to know people in the community of that game outside of these forums and you will realize that the consensus is: these forums are for haters/trolls/doomsayers/etc.
No matter how much you like the game you are playing the people here will tell you why not to like it, and as you look around you will find that the amount of people who actually like to play games on these forums is a very, very small amount compared to the ones who don't.
Those of us who enjoy playing games do just that, and get burnt out on dealing with the idiots here so we just stop posting and then you get what you have today. 80% depressed trolls, 10% innocent newcomers who cycle in and then either out or into the depressed trolls category, and 10% mostly inactive people who really like MMO's and wish for their success rather than the doom of every game that is in beta.
You supposedly think you know everything about the game , but you don't. If you DID know everything you wouldn't be posting bullshit like this. To get everything straight....YES there is raids and dungeons. Actual dungeons are held off until past lvl 20(Instances and such). Raids start at Level 80. The combat is much different compared to any other MMORPG(Directional attacks, combos, action,(No point n click)Etc...). The game also has a very good storyline in the lvls from 1-20. You can go into night mode by going into a bar in Tortage which is Single player mode. And you can go back to daytime if you want. However after 20 the single player mode lessens down to One quest each 20 lvls. Honestly I hate dumbasses like you who spread bullshit. Downing the game as if it's the worst. And plus there are no battlekeeps yet because no one has even got to Tier 2 buildings yet which is a requirement for Battlekeeps.
EDIT- Youre an idiot. Theyre adding PvP gear too sometime this month or next time. Pvp is much like guild wars. Oh fucking well? You can't loot players Woopty fucking doo. Quests dont stop at 40 you dumbshit Im level 64 and I have PLENTY of quests. In fact my quest log is FULL.
