Dumping poor defensless animals is up to par with murder in my opinion. Boy what i would like to do to the sick bastards who do it. Why don't they just beat them death? Hell its the same as dumping. They are knowingly sending the animal to their death. I have seen so many abandened cats and dogs who are so skinny you can see their ribs and will probaly die of starvation in a ditch. It is really sad that the person is too lazy to drive them to an animal shelter so they can at least get some food and water before they get euthenized. There is NO EXCUSE for dumping animals. There are always animal shelters around you. Hell shooting it is a MUCH better death than starvation. Knowing that people dump animals its easy to realize why so much evil exists in the world.

There are plenty of kids around the world that are treated much worse, 24,000 people a day die from hunger and you are on a MMO forum crying about animals.

Well from the retarded stuff i've read on this forums, humans are as stupid as animals. Don't worry mate, these animals will build themselves houses and they'll be sitting on their couches watching some good t.v while smoking cigars.

A person must choose one or the other? It's not possible to think both are detestable? Or, must a person bring up the mistreatment of people any time they bring up the mistreatment of animals? I'm just curious what the rules are, because what you wrote doesn't make sense.
Just go with the flow... When a person speaks out against some injustice, it isn't always necessary to attempt to top it with something else.
I think scrambled eggs are better when made with milk than water. Your turn to bring up the fact that people are dying of starvation and they don't have a single egg, better yet milk. Then I start to feel bad about even bringing it up. I cry a little at my short-sightedness. I apologize profusely.

Exactly. Just because one atrocity is greater than another does not mean the lesser should be ignored. Rezora I don't know where the hell you come off saying I don't care about 24,000 people dying a day just because I think dumping animals is horrible. I don't see you posting about those 24,000 people dying.
We could eat them. That would end their suffering.

If the OP is as naive as he seems it may possibly help him put things in to perspective little better.
Yet here you sit on a MMO forum crying about people crying about animals.

I doubt even one of us on this forum is noble. Personally I don't have the interest in saving stray animals at the moment. I have other interests to persue. Albeit I do have a stray cat as a pet. I suppose everything I do is circumstancial. As I suspect what most of us do.
As for starving childern.. Seen them. Ran around them. Nothing to fear. Death happens. We can help. We can not help. Just go with the flow and hope and do whats on your mind. Thats why I dont stress over people who do bad things anymore. Itll all work out in the end however it works itself out.
For all I know I mite have to become some gosh darn rebel who kills a bunch of innocent people in the future. That or some egalatarianist helping the poor. Life throws alot of choices at us al.

if there is a gross difference in the level of the atrocity and the insignificant one needn't affect you, then it shouldn't be given much attention either.

Because I don't care to, and I know that posting on an mmo forum isn't the most efficient way to get them properly fed, (see how that point applies in your case).
If we really cared about the starving children, we would feed them our unwanted pets.

The OP does have point. Why let a nice well fed animal become skinny and die when u can just take it to the butcher and use that nice protein rich meat to feed some of the poor.

It's not funny if it is explained, but here goes anyway. Ever been 'dumped' in a relationship? Dumped on side of road = dumped in a dating sense = dating. Purposefully using a different meaning for a word in order to arrive at a jest....
