Man, after playing WoW stress test for a couple days now, i wish i could stress test EQ2...i was all about EQ2, but this is a genius move by blizzard. they have a very solid game and they are showing it off. smoothest engine ive ever seen in a mmo. i thought i had my mind made up, but now im more confused than ever!

the question now becomes: do i want to upgrade my pc $400 to enjoy EQ2 or just stick with what i have and play WoW on highest resolution possible....

PC: 2.66ghz pent4 512ram 128agp card 120gb harddrive, i need 512 more ram a 256card and a 350watt power supply to run it. hell even the character creation cd is laggy for me unless i turn the settings way down then it just looks like hell.

im still on your side everquest2, but the race has just gotten a bit tighter image

Why do people keep saying they will have to upgrade their PC? -_-

What are you running at, 600 MHz? ...

    *Sigh*

LoL, I am just the opposite...playing WoW's stress test tells me I would never buy it.  WAY too cartoony for me, and can't stand the feeling of skipping around instead of just running.  Lots of good things and very stable, but not my cup of tea by a longshot...

I'm testing it before I buy it...

As for WoW 6 months ago I would of told you I'd buy it but after actually seeing it then I can tell you I'm not going to mess with the thing.

Im actually the opposite. I thought WoW was ugly graphics. After playing on the stress test its not really that bad.

Im playing with all the gfx options off and on the lowest possible settings.

Run's very good on my geforce 3 ti500. It is bearable now (for the 7 days anyways). I think I would have to crank the gfx settings in this game to really get into it long term.

It doesnt really strike me as Warcraft either. Maybe because I have my gfx turned down to hell.
