Im not seeing any screenies of the female toons ingame..

all I see are background and male images .. part of the magic of conan was supposed to be seeing scantly clad women to go with the scantly clad men..
..hmm... I hope they make a mini-game like in "god of war, chains of olympus" ..something nice to do in a tavern..

A female toon can go topless and show nipples, but as far as sexy female clothing for the scantily clad look? Not much in game at the moment, unfortunately. Pretty ironic that the game with the Rated M label, hyping it's sexuality, is dominated by female clothing options almost as chaste as those in LotRO!

...dangit.. that means only Lineage 2 and Anarchy Online have "thongs" for the female players..
ive nothing against playing a male toon.. but if im gonna be staring at there back for hours on end while im playing in third person mode... a nice female butt would be nice..

Anyone who rolled a female toon took a 20-30% hit in DPS. It seemed to have ticked off a lot of customers. Not sure if it's fixed yet but I'm sure you can find some data on the US or EU forums.

Hyboria definitely needs people to roll female toons.
Initially, when we were parsing stat gear and discovered how +unholy, electrical and so on didn't have any effect, as well as other stat improvement stuff. Everyone overlooked the female toons dps.
Any customer that created a female character is/was suffering from this gross oversight. There is no doubt they'll fix this at some point. I couldn't fathom FC allowing this to continue.
It's one thing to have gear, feats and even spells broken, but to have an entire gender broken is another.
Hopefully, they'll fix it.

As you can see, the quality is excellent for an MMORPG. Graphics are not a problem in this game.

Even though they weren't naked, the CoH costumes on the female characters were pretty sexy.

Here is a screenshot of a character in the slave outfit you start in. I also made some topless ones, but after reading the ToS for the site, I'm not sure if they would be considered pornographic? So, you'll have to settle for some heavily censored one, sorry.
(Hopefully we can all agree now they don't look like guys with breasts?)

The models are fantastic.
The clothing you put them in, is horrible.
I'd say its my biggest letdown with the game. I thought you'd get a continous array of very detailed and attractive armor that showcases the theme of the game, and the time spent making the women very curvey.
Nah, you get EQ2 armor with a few more layers of art applied.
The women need to look more barbaric, the screenshots make it look more like Hyboria's next top model.

1st of all.... am i so old school that i find men playing girl avi's in an MMO a little...off?
i mean really GUYS....lol (only barely serious..lol) mostly just poking at ya.
my girlfriend plays AoC with me...she's a hot avi in both lives :P
In AoC she's my own personal slave girl ...IF ya know what I mean!
anyway...the avi's are pretty well done for men and women in my humble opinion...
it takes devs a while to add wardrobe items...like emotes and the like to a game with some broken quests still out there....they'll get to it, they always do.

Anyone who has created and played a female melee avatar in AOC has taken a 20-30% hit in dps. The official AOC forum moderators almost instantly delete the topics, as they would keep the issue up top as well as clutter the board with a known issue.
Many times I've installed, created and played without visiting the official forums. Couple that with the unwillingness to inform the gaming populace of the issue and one could lvl quite high figuring the character is functioning as intended.
A broken gender in a mmo is wired stuffs. Anyway, a different thread keeps the discussion alive if anyone's interested. http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=96862 I'm curiously anticipating the Monday patch.
Also, any of the fellow MMOers here recall a title that had a gender dps gap like this?
There are harsher default faces and you can make the bodies thicker. You can also tweak the faces a lot with the sliders. Another poster thought they were too masculine, guess it's in the eye of the beholder.

FC said they're working on it, perhaps Monday it gets worked out. It's the parse data posts that get the hammer dropped on them, but I'm sure they've still got a couple lingering about. The EU forums have some solid data if your really curious about it. Did you roll a female toon?

The female avatars in AOC are great. My favorite of any mmo so far. I agree they need to put in some cool sexy female armor. When the stats weren't working I was having fun just mixing and matching outfits. I had an assassin outfit that looked pretty cool.
And the 30% less dps for females is an egregious error. Or maybe working as intended ?
