I don't understand how they expect people to play what is basically the Battlefield series/Call of Duty 4/Unreal Tournament for a monthly fee. PvP in small instanced battles (maps) with the same number of players as the aforementioned FPS games, and unlocks just like Battlefield and CoD4.
Webzen better kick things up a notch or two if they expect this kind of game to survive. Either more players per match than a regular FPS can handle, and/or open PvP areas, or a thoroughly engaging PvE aspect (yeah, right). Otherwise they are marketing what is essentially an already free to play online game, as one with a monthly cost.
At least Planetside had huge battles and bases to conquer. It was laggy as all hell, but far more interesting that what Huxley is boasting.

It's will be a F2P. It will be using the micro payment system.
If it's Battlefield with more of a persistent feel to it (guilds with a decent command structure, social/hub areas, shops, capturable buildings, character progression) then I think it will succeed. It's not quite for the MMO audience, not quite for FPSers.
The trouble is, FPS games are evolving towards MMOs with the likes of BF and COD4 and those games are really slick, whereas MMOs are generally clunky and buggy. Huxley is in that middle ground where a really good persistent FPS could swallow up its customers.
But as to that screenshot, it looks pretty enough but doesn't give much sense of the game.
As of now nobody has proof if usa servers will be p2p or micro payment. I hope its micro payment just for it gets more players but it doesnt really matter to me.
Huxley will have epic PVE raids and quests also. That along side 100 vs 100 battles is pretty decent.
Ive seen vehicles and night vision in videos, come on what else ya want
As for huxley "sense of the game" it seems like a fast paced starship troopers mmofps.

Id like something close to Planetside, with better graphics and a broader world model. As previous posters have stated, for the instanced arena battles being the pvp aspect, i already own cod4 and all the bf series, i play those for free without spending cash at an item shop for this gun or that piece of armor. Hell Planetsides pop is jumping now since they have merged the servers so, really what does huxley have to offer pvp wise?

I would like a updated planetside also, with the ability to own bases(add my own defenses), and an economy. I actually want an updated 10six more since it has the best pvp of all time ( you can lose).
Huxley is not really like planetside, it will be instanced so its more like cod4 with cities, skills, armor, crafting, vehicles, pve, quests, and an economy? If you are talking pure pvp its prob the same you click, it shoots, someone dies. So huxley has more fluff and will keep ya from getting bored as fast?
Like I said nobody knows the subscription model of huxley yet. Huxley like planetside will have ingame ads though. ( i just hope its more than that one in planetside looping over and over again)
I play gunz on ijji and have never needed to buy anything. If its like that how could you complain?

yeah exactly thats all it damn seems like a FPS Unreal instanced MP with a monthly fee. PASS

Its a persistent world. Game play appears to be free with a micro-payment system not so much for weapons but for alternate skins that change your appearance, much in the same way the different armors in halo3 make you more distinctive looking but don't actually change your characteristics. They also are claiming over a 1000 individual weapons all distinctive.

Where is your information coming from? I have been following this game for quite some time and have not heard this before. I think you are just wishing for it to be micro-payments .
The game will have 100 v 100 battles w/ PVE, and instanced battle arenas as well. This is not COD4 or Quake, but take a little bit from each. Personally I paid for Planetside and will pay for this as well, especially if it is better than planetside.

Instanced mmofps? I don't like the idea. Hope they add something interesting to it.
