People bashing AoC seem to try so hard to convence people other to stay away from it. They can't say it once they gotta keep repeating themself one every thread they can. I'm not talking about this forum I see it on other forums too is like if they get pay to do so. JUST GIVE IT UP MOVE ON STOP CRYING ABOUT $50!

cuz its a pile of crap and released undone and they lied. i dont see dx10 support working? do u?? and the game engine is bugged i ran it on low and got fps of 15 i put it on high with shadows off i got 3o to 40 so yeah call me a troll but not my fault funcom fucked up.
Think there are 3 optoins...
1- They are Warhammer beta testers and they are soo AFFRAID with AoC taking all possible players from them.
2- They are kids and have no age to play it... once their parents saw the game they got the butts spanked and now all they can do is that...
and
3- They are sooo crazy cuz the game they want to play won't get closer to AoC that they do anything to make ppl avoid the game...

lol!!!! i spend 50 bucks and got jacked and lied to by a company it promised us stuff and didnt give it to us that why were pissed. still waiting for the dx10 support which will never come or all the other great stuff where is it huh? and AOC will die in a fire so who cares.
bashers won't take a break for the same reason the other half won't stop jumping around shouting how good it is. everyone here is part of something much bigger, a balanced system of mmorpgism, if one side were to get too strong, too weak, or even stop, chaos would ensue, the world of mmorpgs turned upside down, good games would go bad, bad games good and all the boredom would turn into a nine headed hydra.

Well, besides maybe that these forums are slowly going to hell but that the problem of the operators .. not mine.
Maybe it would help if the other "trolls" would stop posting threads begging people to come post about the same argument that has been going on for ages already? Yeah, it is played out and pretty tired. I think as long as there are trolls starting it, and the opposing troll army continuing it, its endless cycle will perpetuate. As I see it, you like it. Otherwise you would not have posted this asking for more.
It is called giving feedback. I mean one of the reasons people come to these forums is to learn about the game. I sure as hell wouldn't find it useful to come to a forum that had nothing but fanbois spouting marketing dribble straight from funcom... Nor is the absolute hater that just trashes the game with no real details. However there is plenty of truth on these forums to be found in the discussions.
So this thread makes me think of the nazis trying to supress freedom of speach. Do you think people would have a better view of the game if we only allowed supporters of the game to express their opinion?? Will all new people like the game? Or are their maybe some valid points being made about incompleteness, bugs, lies, etc?

Well I don't have problem with people making their little review with why they won't play after the free month and stuff like that. I even welcome review I read a few myself before buying it i bought it like 2week after launch. But then we get the idiots that cry about the $50 and come and start spamming shit like
"oh no is all about the graphic the game suck!" or "the game is not optimise don't buy it!" etc.... I know you seen a lot of quotes like this one around this forum so don't lie.

aoc raped the virgins, killed society, lied to the world, screwed the universe and most of all.. tricked dumb idiots with a hype SO big, the biggest in the universe i tell you! i was framed by this ad on a site, no its not an ad which pops up cause of the tracking cookies, no not cause the ad is advertising a mmo on mmorpg.com or any other gamesite, they tricked me. this game stinks, like every other mmo at launch
people dont have anything better to do then this, maybe we should all redirect the persons at the "god im bored' thread to come and flame aoc, is the latest trend in game bashing since swg got old, now we can hate on aoc for a few more years! yippie!
and now excuse me, while ill go do something i find fun.. reading comments about kids crying that aoc wasnt it for 30 min got me bored aswell.. time to have fun and play a game i like, and that is NOT aoc. good day

I'm not a basher but I'm not a fan either. Great, you like the game. Good for you. I bought the CE, I played the game, I didn't like it. Amoung the things I didn't like was the lies FunCON told on the box about what was in the game that wasn't. I would have been happy to have beta tested the game for them for free. I won't pay to do it.
The other half? So you guys even believe you are 1 half?
Mmorpg.com users give Aoc a 8.5, gamespot users give it a 8.3, and so on... Enough said.
(And I'm not even talking about the hundreds of 8-9+ reviews it gets around the web, even the independent French site clubic.com gave it a 9+ review. It's the same all over the world, if you can read foreign languages.)
Lets put it this way ...
Free month is coming to an end. This is the best time for ppl to say there opinions. If you call those ppl bashers then we know your opinion about the game. It doesn't make others opinions any less valid.
We will see what AOC is actually about in the next 3-4 months. Now FUncom will start new PR patch campaign to try to a) get new ppl to buy the game b) try to get those that are not subscriping to rethink.
Thats gaming for you. 90% carrot on a stick and PR 10% actual content that lasts 10 hours of gameplay.

But in all seriousness, I was a beta tester and saw some potential in the game. I bought it at release and played the crap out of it. Now I am just bored with it. I haven't had the graphics issues that a lot of other people have. I run a fairly high end system so I ran the game on high settings and got good frame rates. It just got boring. The quests are dull and mindless (not too different from lots of other titles so AoC is not alone here).
I am also disappointed in what they failed to deliver. In no particular order, DX10 graphics, lack of high end content (they made the grind to 80 too easy but once you get there, now what?!), city sieges, open PvP killed by instancing. I could go on but why bother.
To the OP, if you want people to stop bashing AoC, stop creating threads like these for people to respond in. You are simply inviting people to defend their disappointment with them. Also this is an open forum where the good and the bad should be tolerated and expected. Don't like it? Go elsewhere.
PPL are allowed to say why they dont like the game or why they are not subscriping. Thats why these forums are about. They are also here for the fanboys that now wait for more content so they can continue to play.
Its perfectly fine that ppl hang around and actually warn others what companies like FUncom are all about. Just like ppl found out what Vanguard was all about at launch. Its something that will stick on the game for long time cause basicly most of what is said is based on the truth. Ofc its coloured by opinions - but its still one version of the truth.

Yes many are posting very valid and good opinions about their problems with the game and some others just don't like the game because its not possible to please everyone. But there are also many bashers who are just here to
and bash for free. It has been the same for every game, even the most polished lotro had trolls and bashers.
As much as I like Aoc (yes I love the game even if there still are some bugs and some of the features still aren't there yet; I can see past this as the game is patched regularly), I do have to agree with you about the sly Funcom PR. They have been blatantly lieing and this is unacceptable.
I would guess its because the Fanboys never seem to take a break from trying to quash dissent. *Cough* *Cough*

My dumb ass traded in Halo 3 because I thought it was the next coming of the mmo market...Boy was I screwed...Someone might aswell stood outside of gamestop that day I walked in and hit me in the nuts with a bat, shit the memories would have lasted longer for what I traded.

Go to the Age of Conans forums and check it out, Funcom hired more moderators to get rid of truthful posts from people like me turning people away. Thats right I have had alot of my threads deleted minutes after I posted just like anyone else telling the truth.
Don't believe the Funcom Warmachine and its followers, they are looking to line their pockets with gold.

hm this was actually my first post on aoc ever as far as i remember, i didn't even take a side in my post.
i wonder though why you felt more like commenting on the half part instead of the nine headed hydra thingy, cause the first one was pretty sure more accurate than the second.
