resolution of 1280 x 1024 enough to play comfortable?

in EVE Online

My tft won't do anymore than 1280 x 1024 (not complaining, it's a very nice monitor ::::01::) Seeing the various screenshots of EVE it seems quite busy with various floating screens. This resolution do-able or is 1600 x 1200 (or above) the only realistic option?

    I would have to say yes. My current res is at 1024x768 and I have no problems with it. My suggestion woudl be just play around with the settings and see what works for you.

    I think 1280x1024 is more then enough. So far I have no complaints about it:)

    I'm personally running 1600x1200, and have even tried abit of 1800x1440, but switched back to 1600x1200 again... Liked it better::::02::

    It's all about using what you like best mate...::::28::

    Would say 1027*768 is okai I run that, but I have seen a friends play 3200*1600 ore something like that .. on 2 monitors ... thats just nice.. though the ship is in the middel of the 2 screens :( :( so I would say 3 screens :D :D imageimageimageimageimageimage

    1280x1080 is plently ... anything beyond that and the text box scripts are too small ..... also depends what size screen u have .... i have a 21"  so i got plenty of room .........................

    I've been playing Eve at 1280x1024 for a long time...

    I just bought a 21 inch monitor to play Eve (and other games) in 1600x1200 and I have to tell you that one thing that was bothering me in 1280 is still there. When you are in a market view, there is the Not-resizable list of products on the right, well, it still is AS small and AS unresizable, so I guess the graph part on the left need a lot of room...

    The biggest improvement was by going from GeForce3 to Radeon 9800 pro a year ago. the rotating targetting icons become so much better...
