When i try and login i only see no char.

Me either. I think we were all being naughty and they deleted all of our characters. Just kidding. If you look at that one server with the T, all the characters are there. I think Blizzard is testing how many created characters can be on one server maybe? But then again, I have no idea what I am talking about so... Just know your not the only one with the same problem.

BTW. I am not playing any PvP servers until retail. So many people have said it is so incomplete.

Which is a lie, it's perfectly fine...PvP > Beta servers.

whats different between the normal and pvp servers? are the pvp servers open pvp, like you can attack anyone?

It didn't matter to me if my main character was deleted, was going to start playing a gnome warlock anyway (was playing a troll warrior). I am only testing the game anyway and knew anything goes. Blizzard isn't allowing all of us to play out of the goodness of their heart. The devs have work to do to make this game better and we are only willing guinea pigs. All characters we created this week will be deleted at the end of the stress test.

Yeah but in order to continue onto the normal beta you have to be one of the 3 highest level chars in your class and i would very much like this, so if they deleted our chars its gona be a sad, sad day

Jesus I came back from out of town and I log on and I don't see me char!! I was shocked I thought sumthing had happened but i'm glad its not just me, i'm glad its happening to other people well not that i should be gald in the first place anyone know when we can play again???

No char. either, not sure what is happening no info from website either. The server that has a number next to it isn't working either, besides it says it has 4.2 billion logged in anyway, of course this is not accurate so just as lost as everyone else.

According to the official site, they ran into a problem of some sort, so they took all the servers down to work it out. There was no eta given on them coming back up.

i guess we can all just flood these forums now like a bunch of crazed maniacs... I got a cool screen shot of the 4.3 billion people being logged into Tichondrius server id post it here but i dont know have any webspace to upload to....

And yes everyones chars were gone when i came back and my server the one i play on has the 4.3 billion people on it... My theory is the second database server went down and now both copies of the database are corrupt hence... the end of stress test... Fun while it lasted though and it definitly reminded me of daoc in a lot of ways except new and improved and war crafty.... for the person that made a thread about that...

It's okay if they do delete our characters. I wasn't aware they were giving away beta places for the three highest of each class at the end of the test. That's pretty cool. Anyway, I am working on getting a new videocard seeing as how I am averaging about 13.6 FPS.

In a nutshell, the 3 highest level players from each class per side will have their characters copied over to the regular beta servers.

Wow this better not be theof the stress test i wanna play more i even had to leave the secound day it started so i only played one day.... I dont care if they delete my char cuz as lostcausze says I wasnt aware of the 3 highest lvl chars from each class get to move on to closed beta now i might have a chance.

i dont get the point for the rush though, im pretty sure there gonna go open beta 1-2 weeks after that anyways. I meant theres not much time left for an open beta .

It will probably be mroe than 1-2 weeks. If the game comes out smetime in mid-november that leaves about 2 months until release. So at least another month of closed beta.

And actually, open beta may not even be a month. Since we are already doing the stress test, there isn't much left to do for the open beta. I wouldn't be surprised if open beta was only 2-3 weeks.

At this point i think theyd be smart having open beta in about a month after this and having it for a month starting 2 days ago my first impression was... wow this is a stress test? now its painfully obvious i had like 40 or so critical crashes today and the current situation speaks for itself great game but a lot of bugs and still quite a few gameplay issues to be worked on. If they want a smooth retail release (as smooth as can be expected) theyre gonn have to bust serious ass for the next two months. In other news the servers are actually reporting as down so it shouldnt be longer than a couple more hours...

Just out of curiosity... What level, class, and race is everyone? If i had known ahead of time about the three characters getting into closed beta i would not have slept, and just levelled like mad. I have a level 13 undead mage because i have only been exploring the world, rather than levelling.
