slayer67slayer67 Member Posts: 68

Hi, atm I'm looking for a decent Hack&Slash game, or any game with instant pvp, as in not too much lvling up involved kinda like FPS.......ish.............so yea stuff I've tried that's relevant:

RYL

RYL2

ROW (these 3 are the same, too little content)

Combat Arms

Warrock

Soldier Front

Air Rivals/Space Cowboy

and most retail FPS games like BF2, CoD4 etc. etc.

So if you could help me out, its much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Planetside if you're looking for MMOFPS action, however I must warn you that you might get bored after a few days once you discover that all the bases look the same.

Guild Wars is really cool because you can create a max level character and join arenas to your heart's content.

if you want lots of content play GW get a char to 20 it takes just a few days and then you can PVE and instant PVP with him when you want.

the only thing i don't like about GW PVP is that the largest battles are 8vs8 and that is the high end GvG.random arenas are 4v4.

Honestly you might want to check out AoC if you haven't.  It's a lot more of an Arcade/Action type feel especially the melee classes, and it is a shorter MMO than most in terms of leveling to end game.  The PVP on PVP servers starts almost immediately as it is free for all, and all classes can stealth so it has a very action like feel to me.

Also what others have said in Guild Wars.  Guild Wars though is rare because you sound like you wouldn't like the single player part, and the multiplayer consists of a number of arenas where you spec your character differently and complete in different pvp games.  However, it is all arena based.  There is no free roaming or anything, and it can get old.

You also might like EVE online as you don't have to actually level up, but you build your skills over time.  If you can get with a pirate or deep space corp you can start PVP'ing almost immediately, and you never really have to grind.  Just participate in corp events/battles and over time before you know it you will get pretty strong.

Finally, keep an eye on WAR and Aion as both are supposed to have some good PVP/RVR combat, and I bet both won't be incredibly long leveling wise.  Also WAR let's you level through PVP so you can start and PVP all the way through.

    Good luck man.

    Adding a few more:

    Diablo 1 & 2

    Mythos

    Age of Conan's PvP mini-games

I have tried Fury it was fun but then it got overly complicated well it probably isn't once i get used to the game. so yea GW seems fun but its pretty much like Fury if its just arena based pvp .

AoC isn't for me they have a P2P system right ? so yea i cant afford it untill i get a job for the summer. but yea thanks for the suggestions
