neither is better, shit they are hardly even different. they depend on the hardware (so are nvidia cards better than ati cards?) and to declare 1 the winner is to raise your hand and say "hey! total fan-fag over here ::wink wink::.". it is kinda shitty that they are different otherwise we wouldnt have to pick a platform ahead of time, i know it seems like b/s and alot of work (or none ultimately) but just decide which COMPANY you like better, and support them. to do it by the card is stupid because next weeks best card is not this weeks best card.
i dont know why you would care about a game supporting them or not, i always left crossfire on nomatter what i played and never had any problem. sli i never bothered with yet because, well honestly they arent releasing any games that i feel deserve that kind of effort....yet.
SLI and Crossfire at this point are pretty much useless. There are only a few games that support it. More games support SLI right now, but Crossfire has better scaling on the games that support it. Also ATI is doing more serious development on Crossfire then nVidia is doing development on SLI because its more critical to ATI's business strategy.

Most MMOs dont support either so it wont make a difference.
Maybe WAR or Aion will hopefuly.
I would go with a MB that has SLI and buy a 9600GT and wait and see what games I'll play.
If yours will suport it i would buy another 9600GT and they are a cheap and very powerful combo atm.
