Any great games out there?(No BS this time, guys)
I am sorry for my last topic. I was kinda nuts.
I'm lowering my expectations now.
When you reply to one of these options, at the top you put OPTION 1 or OPTION 2 or whatever so I know which one you're replying to.
LOL Now i'm being picky but not for all the same options I have opened. XD
OPTION 1:
1. Is free
2. Has no violence
3. Is not Second Life
4. Is an MMORPG (Meaning you can't suggest sims, harvest moon, or animal crossing)
5. Has pretty graphics (You know, with the 3d rendering that's like Mabinogi... But Graphics like RO will do too.)
6. Has highly advanced character customization
OPTION 2:
1. Is free
2. Has pretty graphics
3. Vast world with little to none loading screens
4. Ability to fly or Have Pets or Ride on animals or a combination of two or more.
5. Has highly advanced character customization
OPTION 3:
1. Is free
2. Has pretty graphics
3. Little to none loading screens
4. PvP is disabled unless in a certain place (Kinda like in Mabinogi, if you're wondering what I mean)
5. Has a certain theme, like video game themed or Final Fantasy Themed or China themed or something similar.
OPTION 4:
1. Is free
2. Has Pretty Graphics
3. Little to none loading screens
4. Has to include a terrifying atmosphere or be super gory

Well the best things in life are free..... unless you're playing an MMO, in which case you must pay for something decent these days.
Wonderland looks cute, but i've already filled the 2d sidescroller type gameplay MMORPG spot with the one Gaia Online's been making for the past 3 years or so.
And I'm thinking of trying Requiem.
Also anyone have any positive reaction to this MMORPG that has a name like Perfect World or Perfect Life or something?
And actually i'm trying to get second life. Reason I said I tried it is because.... It won't let me join. Seriously. I try to register without going to a server. Doesn't work. I try to register after going to a server. Doesn't work. So yeah, no suggesting Second Life unless you can tell me how to join the freaking site. (BTW the server site I tried was dreamland or whatever it was called. The site was red)

I just dunno because of the small game population, poor english translation, lag, and slow leveling.
For option 2 the only thing that comes in mind is Perfect World. A vast map, pets to ride, and able to fly once you hit level 30 or if you are in the Winged Elf class you can fly from the begining. You can make your character look like anything you want. And it's free, and has a cash shop.You should go and check it out.

Yeah, Perfect World's the one i'm looking at right now. It's pretty and it makes me want to get it right now, but MMOHub says it's got botched english and slow leveling and little flaws like that.. I mean, the slow leveling is okay but if the game's not made to be comedic and it has botched english that's kinda saying "This game's not funny at all, but the botched english will make you think it is"... But that's only IMO. Botched english (Such as engrish like on engrish.com) makes me laugh, and most of it I don't even understand the meaning they try to convey.
So, yeah, slow leveling's great, I don't care if I level up or not.
And the botched english is a plus because I love that kinda stuff. I love trying to interpret.
There's a big problem with it being a smaller community in a larger world. Like, on Mabinogi it's a really small community all in the newbie town. Like noone's in other towns so it's kinda empty when I wanna chat with someone.
Plus the reported lag it has because the servers aren't in the US... That's really another reason....
So I got 2 for getting Perfect World and 2 for not. What should I do?
The botched English is in every translated game. I'm not so sure about the lag. You can use the international version. That's what I'm using right now, but I'm on the Chinese side of things so I don't know. The leveling isn't really slow if you do quests, it's slow if you just grind. I think the reason it has such a small community is because most people went on the malaysia and philippine sevrers. I know people who had downloaded player-made patches to translated the words on the Chinese severs, but don't worry people will come. And trust me you'll like it.

Well okay.. Have you played Perfect World? I wanna know how bad the botching is.
Is a hard question. Even though I'm on the international version, I'm using Chinese because is my first language, so really I don't know. But if the botching is anything like Silkroad International then I think it wouldn't be that bad. And judging from their company's English website, I think you'll be able to understand what their saying. You could ask people on the Perfect World Wiki site, or even check out videos on youtube, if you are very concerned.

Well i'm not too concerned except if the english is too bad i'll only be running around talking to NPCs to see their poor english for a laugh and that's not a good MMORPG experience. Because then i'd be able to say "I played an MMORPG just to laugh at NPCs."
Well I wish I could tell you how the botching is, but I can't. I think you should try it out first because really I think everything else will make up for it. If you press X will running you can don cart wheels, and space is jumping, press X in the middle of jumping you'll do a summersault. It's a great way to travel. I'm hooked on it now. man mmo's suck ...
The translations are not as bad as in some games, but some of the grammar will sound silly.
I wouldn't let something that small keep you from playing Perfect World though. You'll always know what the NPCs want you to do and almost everyone on the Malaysian server speaks English and from my experience they are generally helpful.
I'm downloading Perfect World now, but it's been on 1 hr 5 minutes for about 30 minutes now. The seconds counter is going, and... Aww crap now it's gone to 1 hr 8 minutes as soon as the downloading bar went up!
I know. Is a very big game. But I used torrent so it was a bit faster.
