I haven't played this game in years and need some advise.
Ok, I rolled a scout on Albion (decided to start fresh with a new alt).
Would this work well (someone suggested this):
48 Archery
44 Thrust
38 Stealth
10 shield
So far I have only put two points into archery. If anyone could link me to a good step-by-step guide I'd be grateful. Or if anyone has a good plan I'd love to hear it.
I miss the good ol' days when nerds were actually intelligent.

Gee, thanks.

Okay...
Here's my recommendation: The defining characteristic of the scout in DAOC is the fact that it can use a shield, not putting any points in it you might as well have rolled a wizard.
If I were going to make a scout now, it would be:
50 archery
42 shield
39 stealth (respec later when I got higher RR as 50 stealth is max)
13 thrust (take the points from stealth here when higher RR)
Snipe at range, when engaged in melee, slam, then either run away (speed burst is a spell now for scout) or point blank shot them down.
