But can anyone really call these answers? If you didnt notice a trend, let me quote often heard phrases in these 'answers':

Honestly, I would love to hear some real answers, current info, from folks that really know. This is just rehashing guesstimates and old info, for the most part.
Read most of that but Cheers Daarco.. I wonder how many haters will start to rant or post selective garbage when you are offering up reference post .... There will be a few I guess.

After reading the first 2 pages I bet a fair number of those who dont like DF or are trolls will hit this thread fast. Mainly due to the fact that the guys answering questions dont have Developer tags so no one will believe them and will point out all the flaws in that thread.
Its unfortunate because all is needed is 1 dev who has free time (i mean free time outside of work) to peruse the thread and back up their community with at least some answers. Will they? doubtful from what ive seen so far from the devs. it would be nice to see more games make it since there is a continous flow of failed games last few years, Fury being one that I actually tested. hell if i was adventurine id at least let a few people outside their test group beta it a little bit, at least to get a small amount of free publicity.
I pity both haters and fans because either way one side will get crushed one way or another. although it not coming out will be far worse then if it does release.
Theodgrim has a valid question on the responses to but that goes back to it not being a dev answering the questions.
Playing: Not much actively.

As Theodgrim has already demonstrated, any question that cant be answered by public knowledge, are being answered by guesses, so by there own admission the community staff are just as clueless as the rest of us.
So much for "better educating the community"
But Tasos said “we’ll try for a Q&A journal, or something along those lines for next week” in his last update so perhaps we will get that today, and hopefully the Developers Q&A will be an improvement on this Staff Q&A.
Actually, much of the community isn't 100% up on all the facts for the simple reason that there is a lot of material to go through. No newbie is going to read though 50/100/150 threads in the Forumfall news section to get their answers.
Or they could start with some of the sticky’s directly under the staff Q&A thread like “how to find the answers to your Darkfall questions”, “Compiled list of all the known features on one page” or “the FAQ and screenshot collection”
But I agree this staff Q&A is only really useful for people who are new to Darkfall or don’t know much about it, which is fine.

All those threads are also massively meaty, ya know.

They are now resorting to the forum mods to answer questions about the game because they can't get any out of the people building it.
I'am telling you this project is no where even near what they tell people it is.
The good news is that Tasos wrote and claimed he wanted to do a Q&A himself since there were so many questions that the admins couldent answer. This Q&A will be posted on the next wednesday.
AT first I was shocked. I thought Adventurine was finally going to give people more information about DF, but then when I clicked the link I found it was just the community representitive...
Not to say I was surprised. He doesn't even have access to any more information than anyone else...
This was just refresging old information, nothing new.

Exactly. Adventurine is yet to actually take a stand and give people more then basic information. Hell, they cannot even keep their attempts to give a short little update every Friday.
They have still failed to show any proof of all of their claims, even 6 months before release.

It's quite unusual that they took a break from the usual Fridays. Maybe Wednesdays are Tasos prefered days for updates due to his work schedule, and maybe that explains the on-off Friday updates.
I don't even bother reading what is on most of these websites in development. It is all disinformation to start with. A lot of empty promises and I am not specifically singling out Darkfall, they all do it.
Its nice to see that they devs are actually throwing us a bone. I was starting to think DF dropped off the face of the MMORPG world. They had a lot of good Q and As, but I want to see some actual in-game content such as videos and what not. I bet the release will come in late 2009.
