So there have already been a couple of magazine interviews conducted, but Tasos will only let us know which magazines they are in "when they come out".
So why do I think Tasos might be cynically manipulating community expectations?
Because a "PC gamer speculation" post [link] (about the possibility that the PC gamer magazine might have had an exclusive on Darkfall) has been on the front page of the official forums for 2 months which has accumulated over 35,000+ views and nearly 1,300 reply’s.
Which was started and promoted by official member’s of the community staff but which was never officially confirmed by the developers, until despite the community's hype and over optimism eventually (or inevitably) the magazine was revealed not to contain a Darkfall exclusive.
In my opinion it appears Tasos is encouraging the community to repeat this type of speculation and expectation about every possible magazine coming out that might have one of those "couple of magazine interviews" he has mentioned.
Because Tasos will only confirm which magazines actually contains a Darkfall interview "when they come out", he is allowing the maximum amount of time for speculation and expectations to build beforehand most of which will be completely unfounded.
Instead of just telling us which couple of magazines they have done an interview with, he has decided to leave it vague and ambiguous as usual, conveniently allowing the community to build up speculation and hype in the vacuum provided.

Well duh, that way if "the magazine decided not to run the article" he has a way of jumping through hoops and saying it was the National Inquirer or the Onion.
...not that The Onion would even do that...

I agree, he does buy himself a good bit of time by saying that. Although, if we don't see a magazine by October, then there is going to be a pretty mad community.
As for the PC Gamer Speculation, at first that wasn't his fault- it was the staff's. They should not have started that thread giving the community false hope, since it is bound to become another letdown to the community. Now, though, if there is NOT an interview in PC, the Tasos should be ashamed. They should have come right out and stated that they were not in that magazine.
Although there isn't really anything to do but sit back and wait, since the PC Magazine doesn't come out until June.

Mike the latest edition of PC Gamer does not have a Darkfall exclusive.
The point I was trying to make (perhaps badly) was that after 2 months of rampant speculation on the official boards that a mainstream gaming magazine might have an exclusive Darkfall feature.
Tasos in his latest update says oh yes we have done some interviews with magazines, but we wont tell you which ones they are until they come out !.
So unless he is completely ignorant of the most significant event on his own games official forum for the last 2 months.
He appears to me to be blatantly encouraging even more of the same type of unjustified and unsubstantiated speculation and overly optimistic expectation that the next edition of any and every possible magazine might be one of the couple of magazines that might have a Darkfall interview.
Of course is superfluous for him to tell us which ones they are when they come out because we all will know already if they are in mainstream magazines, so it could purely be an attempt at generating the maximum amount of hype out of potentially what might turn out to be only 2 insignificant interviews from obscure magazines.

My point was that PC Gamer magazine is the current magazine the community is talking about...wether or not they will be disappointed is another story.

Darkfall was featured in many large online piblications already. All of them citing it as vaporware. ehheheh
Either way the next few months are going to be a real entertainment. Either bad entertainment for the fans or good entertainment for the critics.
