I know when they've done this with EQ2 before, they reactivate them in waves so yours could just be lagging behind. Might need to just wait until tomorrow and see.
If it's like the EQ/EQ2 deal recently if you cancelled your account within the last 3 months you do not qualify as you have not been "discontinued" long enough. I had that happen with one of my accounts that had a station pass.

I tried to log into my account and no go. It hasn't quite been three months since I quit.
When I tried logging into my wifes account (who hasn't played since last year), it worked.

Gav is most likely right. We are activating a lot of accounts, and the process can take a longer for some accounts. I'll be sure to double check and have an update in the morning when I get to work.
I just received the email about reactivation today. I think I bought the box a couple of days after release but only played for an hours as my system wasn't up to the task and it was a complete lagfest on the lowest settings. I can't return at the moment as I'm in a hotel with a 200Kb d/l speed and anyway the disks are sitting in a cupboard 800 mils away...
I too am in a position where my account has not been reactivated yet. I even sent and email early this morning and have not received word.. tried online chat and it was down today So no word and no reactivaton of account.

It might only be for people who either pre-ordered the game during beta or who bought it in the first month or so.
If your account is from early last year maybe it IS open and just does not say so on SOE's website. Try logging in if you haven't.
