Should i or Should'nt i

in Anarchy Online

I played the 7 day trial about 4 months ago but i could'nt seem to get into it, don't think i broke level 4 but i've just watched the alien invasion trailer. I thought wow could i have been wrong about this game, should i go buy it and give it another try but a more determined one.

I guess all i'm asking is ...... is it a bloody good and worth while game......

    i really rather enjoyed AO as a whole... but i'm taking a break from it til the winter months... figured i should really go out while the weather is still nice out (shock!)

    what is it that you couldn't get into? and well... getting past lvl 4 is a good thing... for you're not really getting to play the game while still in the starting grounds.

    I'm really into it. It's a great game, just don't buy the latest expansion (alien invasion) if you're not into geam/guild play, and social play.

    yeah its a good game i just completed my 7 day trail today and i got a lvl 32 atrox enf lvl 17 solais soldier and a lvl 16 nanomage engineer and i tend to play for about 5 hours a daybut yeah the ai expansion tends to be based more for higher lvl orgs/clans with citys its only worth getting if you plan on power lvling and want alien stuff

    I liked the game when I was playing 1 year or 2 ago, but in my opinion, now it's too empty image

    when i played over a year ago... I had a blast.. I was an opefix male martial artist!! I LOVE the martial artist... mainly because I can do so much in a fight
    adding extra hits all the time.

    I really really enjoyed the crafting system of the game
    it was easy and enjoyable.. + exploring was always fun for me. and the world was big.

    UNLIKE Final Fantasy XI there were people who enjoyed fighting in more than 2 places in the game.

    I still rank AO as the best mmorpg for your money and still my all time favorite

      AO has a VERY steep learning curve and it takes a while to get up and running.   You have to read a ton of boards or have some friends in the game to really make a go at it.  Very easy to get stuck in a rut and lose patience but a heck of a lot of fun if you stick it out.

    well the in game help has always been fairly great tho. you can find people wandering around in "anarchy online" shirts in game and they are there to help out anyone whom has questions. this seems to be a new thing (well new since i hadn't played in nearly two years)... also, from past experiences, when i'd get stuck i'd send a petition and wouldn't have to wait long for a response.

    better help than i've had in SWG and L2.

    i only want AI for the pet leet... lol... yes i suck. ;P

    i started my acc up again last month made a keeper got him to mid 40's got him a yalm some nice ar and a nice keeper wep, got bored, and closed my account again
