Basically I'm at the point of waiting for WAR to come out but bored of all the MMO's I own or have downloaded. Any recommendations for an MMO that's either cheap or free (although I'd prefer a P2P game) to basically fill the void of time from now and until WAR's open beta?

EQ

EQ2

DAoC

WoW

CoH/CoV

Sword of the New World

RO

GW

LotRO

There're some others but my memory is a bit fuzzy at the moment.

    dreamlords is nice.  f2p MMORTS

     

    i see you have already tried guild wars.  that is by far the best f2p game out there

     

    you may like vanguard...if you ignore all the technical problems (once you do its a half decent game).  and of course there is AoC but i am guessing you might be a WAR fan and hate AoC with a passion

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
    -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

    It's not that I'd hate AoC with a passion, I'd just prefer not paying $50 for a new game that I'm dropping when WAR releases...  Seems like quite the waste of money with that, you know?

    it is.  and if you like WAR then i doubt you will like AoC enough to warrant the $50 ($100 here...damn monopoly in the games market).

     

    all i can suggest is one of the old MMO's ($5-20 usually) but they are a tad old.

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
    -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
