How come Neocron 2: Beyond Dome of York isn't on the "in development" list?t

It's just reached Open Beta, and looks VERY promising. Much better than FOMK imho.

News article and a dev list update needed I think

The client is available over BitTorrent (Torrent is on the official forums and other torrent sites) or http://neocron.org/download

Get playing, gurantee it's gonna dwarf FOMK.

Because its really pretty much the same game (as neo 1) with a tiny bit better graphics... Granted they have added a few things recently but still.

Im gonna try it out. It looks cool. Hacking, driving vehicles, shooting people. Good ideas. Might be worthwhile the 4 hour download on bittorrent.

I tried neocron 2 and im telling you guys to avoid at ALL costs. It looks 90% like neocron 1 with little to no new content and the same ugly character models and boring gameplay.

Why do you try to blackmark Nc2 ? FIRST, it has new player models, It has new whole CITY (plus other areas), same size as Neocron. And if you so dislike the game, STFU, nobody cares what you think, if some people are interested, let them try it. There is too much whining people like you.

I've been playing open beta now, and I must say so far so good! Damn good game. Worth a shot to everyone who is interested.

The new character models look worse than the old ones though... And to the guy above me, what are you on about? Of course people care what others think of the game. Do you think people want to waste their time downloading the game if its crap?

Yeah i'm sure they will be furious when they dislike the game and wasted all that money they spent on the game .

The game is free to try, give it a download. If you don't like it, big deal. Delete it, and move onto something else. If you DO like it, congratulations.

well congratz to Bobbler ehre then...sorta feels like anarchy online in the type of world and everything ( AO was and is one of my favorite and most admired mmorpgs ). im definitly gonna get some mroe work time to get more money for this >_>

It's not crappy game, that's my point, but some bitter beta testers or sad wankers come here whine and moan about the game, telling people not to play it, since they had some bad experiences from it, or they was expecting something else about the game. I've seen too much forum trolls painting games like this. They just can't move to other game or try to forget it.

Some people like to watch Bold & the beatiful, some don't.

I liked the game until I fired my weapon.

How cheap the weapon effects were. My Electro gun had worse aim and my little 3 shot burst machine gun had horrible crosshair bloom.

Plus it was cheap and I coudlnt picture myself running around with these things shooting people. Rest of the game seemed cool.

Isnt the point is you might think its a good game others may think its a pooh game at the end of the day isnt everyone entitled to an opinion whether they whine about a game or hype it...

I personally take all peoples opinions on board and will judge the game for myself when i download it.

I might have tried this out except that I had such a bad experience from the first one(the file that I d/l from their offical site was corrupted...so after 1 and 1/2 hours of d/l and when I went to install the game it gave me (1534 mintues left) something was wrong....so I d/l from gamers hell I think and that one was corrupted...finally I got to fileplanet but by then I was too fed up... it put me off on this one...so bad that I won the closed beta here and I didn't even respond.....

Havent even played the game yet but one thing i hate so far is the 3.0k/s autopatch speed.

Well i made it into the game and created a character.... i like the setting but i hate the gui. Its all bright green and computery and doesnt go with the dark themes and setting of the game so far. I only played for about 5 minutes and stuff when i was waiting for the wow stress test servers to come up. Seems like a cool idea so far but the gui = poor execution. Ill give it another more thorough try after the wow stress test.
