All you aoc haters are only a tiny fraction of subscribed players, just because your jealous of aoc success you go out on this forum and bash it. Since the posting of funcom's 700,000 active accounts, they annouced they have also had more players entering AOC. They are the #2 most subscribed game on the chart. Also the pvp nerfing is due geared toward GvG even the devs have already said it. all AOC servers is packed as of now, except only 1 server is half empty. Those of you who have not subscribed dont know what your talking about.

lemmie see, they were lambasted when AO came out, and they've made the same mistakes... AoC won't be proper until "summer" according to the open letter.
I think the funniest thing are the devs telling people with problems that their case is paramount and they're working on the bugs as fast as possible then release patch notes with "den of wolves" to "kill plain wolves"
obviously that quest title needed urgently changed :-p
-grey map screen, memory leaks, crafting broken, many feats broken (especially the guardians pole arm tree), Scaling doesn't work (conq for example) and as we've even seen with not last patch but the patch before they realised that barbs were failing between 40-45 with a strength decrease bug. Quest bugs (arena key for example, one of many).
- crafting is broken, PvP patch still not forthcoming, no communication, lack of GMs, lack of content after 50. Stats aren't working properly, grey elites issue, DT issue's, balance, melee v caster/ranged, priests more useful than dps classes, rogue classes a joke.
- it's so bad, that half way through the game they have to give us repeatable quests in the noble district... how many MMORPGs have did that halfway through the game's content

700,000 have registered, i doubt there's 700 subscribers, and considering they shipped out over 1 million copies... it's doing "okay".
2 months down the line we might see some changes
but then i don't care, Funcom do, they've been losing $4 million revenue per year for a couple of years now... so.. they're in trouble if AoC does become crapola. (as many reviewers who have gotten past level 20 see it)
even if the game is a " succes" the game it self aint..
i am playing from early acces and i must say..
they screwed up the game and payed a far to high price for high end look of the game.
classes are unballance, game still feels like beta, every patch so far more bugs..., crappy support
at first i was sceptic like the game might be good even tho all the bashers were telling otherwise
the game looks nice for sure. but other than that pretty much everything is wrong with it.
no end game content, hell even armors character stats are bugged.
so if i knew it was this bad i wouldent even have bought this game

What do you want him to do? really? agree yea the magic pixie boots are way too red about a hundred times. Why hundred times? since you're not the first to point it out. So we are force to read your repeated crappy posts with no meaning or thought just to point out some thing the last 99 guys just did. I think after the first guys points out something pretty clear, it does get annoying.
Conclusion, don't point out bugs or missing content b/c I'm playing the game I know it's missing. I don't care what you think or how you feel. If you want to post an unique idea or suggest, go for it but just quit whinning already. Of course logic is not your thing or you'd realize this already.
FunCom's PR just wants to let you know that they love you. You have been played like the puppet you are. FunCom said 700,000 accounts had been ACTIVATED. They never ever said there was 700,000 ACTIVE accounts. Do you see the diffrence yet scrub?
700,000 activated accounts = 700,000 boxes sold and that is it fool. Also just because I like to kick a nerd when he's down.
FunCom PR stated they sold 500,000+ boxes at release. Over the next 40 days they were able to sell 200,000 more. Go chew on that for awile my nieve little puppet.

I don't like the game. The community is rude and immature. I had tech issues even though I exceed the recommended specs.
Also, 1 starting 20 level area got dull the 2nd time through.
Hell, i play Dungeon Runners and enjoy it more than I did AoC.
If you enjoy the game, like the game, have little trouble playing it, then play it. People gonna bitch wether you say folks shouldnt.

You like seeing things a hundred times. Do you know the teletubies show does that same thing. I have some nephews that watch that show. Kids in the show watch a movie clip and right after it they all say "again again" and of course the same movie clip is played. I'm guessing you probably enjoy that show quite a bit right? I could repeat my post a few times and you can say "again again" too. If you like I could write in colored text and big letters too. 1. It doesn't have 700,00 subscribers, that 700,000 registered accounts.
2. The pvp nerfing is ludicrous, and the pvp system (which was supposed to release in June btw) is going to totally change the game. I suspect the forums will explode on the day that it releases.
3. All servers are not packed, this is a blatant lie. I saw the servers on high only the first few days that the game was out, now they are ALL on medium load.
4. Anyone who says "Cry more" or "qq more" played too much WoW. I honestly didn't even know what "qqing" meant until someone told me in AOC, and it's probably because I never played WoW.
5. If you have fun playing the game that's great, but you shouldn't feel the need to justify yourself playing by coming to these boards and spewing out crap like you just did.

maybe a few months from now we will give it a try. but thanks to people posting all about bugs and missing content, me and a few of my friends have been saved from an unfinished product.

I have never seen that before, but then again I never played DAoC either.
I play more FPS games personally, SWG was my first MMO. I've played Lineage 2, SWG, EQ2, LOTRO, AO and AoC and I never saw anyone say qqing. Weird.
Thats odd... I saw lots of "QQ" in L2...a LOT of it... because there was a lot of shit talking in that game. A nice thing that was missing from WoW... unless you were a holy priest. Spirit of Redemption = 10seconds of annoying emotes till you can release to rez.

actually if you split it up, the way Blizzard does on their yearly statements.. it's not too farfetched having 11 million active... take away 5.5 million asian for one

now if you compare, what we know about WoW's numbers from blizzards wonderful yearly figures from blizzard.com... and other MMORPG's difference between regions.

Why should one go to professional sites to get facts, when you can get them directly from the player base?
I'm the sheep because I don't want to play a half finished bug filled game? Why is it that people who post FACTS about the game (say... an entire gender is broken) are nay-sayers?
I know you're serious and thats what scares me. People who honestly think anyone who says anything negative about their new game is wrong, people who don't understand that games aren't godly or horrible, they are in between.
You sir, are either stupid or lazy. You either don't understand what people are saying to you, or simply don't bother actually adressing it. It has nothing to do with your position on AoC, only your method of discussion.
I think AoC will be a good game and odds are I will end up playing it pretty seriously in the future. But in its current state I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole. People on these forums are full of blind hate and blind adoration of the game which makes it hard to find real info, but not impossible.
Its thanks to people here that I've been able to collect enough information of the state of the game to decide if I should buy the game or not. Why is it that collecting information from them makes me a sheep? I'm glad they told me females attack slower than males due to combat animations. Its great that people spread the word that sieges were full of bugs and exploits. And the fact that crafting is broken never would have come up if the "haters" hadn't been around.
If you can't understand that some people understand the game and don't believe everything they are told then there is no hope for you. AoC Doesn't have 700k subscribers. The wording was careful in funcom's post that they had 700k accounts created. this number is tiny considering most MMOs sell the most right at launch (its amazing that WoW is still selling). Lineage2 posted that they sold over 13million... over a year ago.

Thankyou!!!! I loved the irony when he tells you to do market research and then not to listen to market research because it is conformist. I have been told by friends who have this game (and who have as vigorously supported the game as direst of fanbois on this site) that I care too much about what others think of the game. I on the other hand think that other peoples' opinions may have just saved me 50 dollars.
