cd key used ????

i've stop playing so i cancelled my account but now i wanna get back but it says my cd key is being used......if u guys could help me on this i would really appreciate..

i tried to log in my old account but it says to subscribe.....and when i do it says my cd key is used..

i searched on this forum but nothing could help me....there's no re-subcribe and my payment is by credit card...

plz help me... hope i dont need to buy a new box...

When I re-activated an old account, all I did was log on as I had done many times before when I was paying. Then it gave me payment options, I chose monthly and I was back and playing right after patching. Only time I was asked for my CD-Key was when I was creating a new account. Once that account is created the CD-Key sticks with the Station account that you used with it.

well.. when i log back in it gives me 2 choice ; SUBSCRIBE and CLOSE.....could u be more precise?

It's been months since I last reactivated an account. I have since quit playing SWG, so that's about all the info I can give you. I don't recall it being that difficult at all, nor running into any problems. You could check you station account at www.station.sony.com I do recall them saying they were going to delete some old inactive accounts, I don't think that would effect you though.

if it says CD key in use then someone stole your cd-key somehow.

Call customer support and give them your password, login info, street address, blah blah..to rpove who you are. Then they'll email you a new station name password or cd-key.

Someone actually stole my entire account (characters and all). SOE support got it fixed in 10 minutes.

You do not need your CD key to reactivate your account, the key was used and will no longet work, and the account already exists. You MUST remember the Station name and passward you were using though, just log in and press on suscribe when asked and follow directions.

said. Click on the desktop icon of SWG. Log in. You will seen the Station Launchpad menu appear. This is what it looks like:

Then enter your name and password. Click on "sign in". If you let your account run out, then you will get a message saying account suspended/inactive because of payment running out/non-payment.

It will then give you options on re-activating your account. It will not ask you for any CD-Keys. You said you already used to play SWG. You only have to enter the CD-Key one time and that is the first time you play SWG.

You can also try clicking on "Account" and follow the directions shown.
