I just got another trail to this game through station launcher and i'm enjoying myself more the 2nd time around. Now the main probably I have is what the title says LAG! There is so much lag when I enter buildings I remember there being some last summer but now its just worse; I thought maybe it was my old computer last year but now i'm on a much more capable computer that I know can run this game since it can handle VG,PotBS,and EQ2 maxed out so MxO no problem. Now the game has added a few things i've noticed like these dungeon type things (or maybe i was to stupid to find them last year). Combat seems the same and its smooth as always but jeez this lag to just get somewhere makes things agitating. If anyone has suggestions to fix this lag please let me know and yes i've tried lowest settings balls to the wall and still have the lag issues (maybe its there server equipment). Also another side question how the hell do I use the in game radio and whats it for?

Do you by chance have an Nvidia 8800 or higher graphics card? If so, this work around should help.
Though i have heard the very latest nvidia drivers have fixed the problem without the need for the work around... be sure to give that a try too and let us know how you get along.
I have the latest nvidia drivers and yes i have double 8800 GT's i tried the work around but I don't have the monolith folder as to I have the game previously from direct2drive.com, so im kinda confused as to where I would place this work around i've tried the normal sony/MxO folder nothing and the auto_cfg fodler nothin also.
In the root folder where your config files/launcher exes etc are stored you need to create your own text file called useropts.cfg, there won't be one already there, its a user created file.
Simply follow the instructions here step by step and see how it works out.
followed the steps in the link and unfortunately no luck I'm still getting lag spikes when i'm in buildings hopefully one day this will be fixed I might just start up my old computer and see how its old agp card handles the game.
I actually managed to fix my lag problem it seems the driver nvidia just put back up (think the tweaked it) yesterday did the trick for me I get no lag what so ever indoors. Thanks for the help Jackal.
