Hey folks Im interested in eq2 my trial is going well so far.

I just wanted to get a feeling as to how you guys are treated by them through support or class development anything you want to comment on.

For example something bugs me slightly, Ive done my research and looked into the expansion packs and I notided on the ROK pack it says that if you have ever had 30 days free or own EQ2 basically that time is null and void all you get is the expansion. (Am I wrong?). Which to me doesnt seem quite right since every game I have played if an expansion pack is launched the playerbase no matter who they are, are given the free time.

Cheers

You generally wont find the typical SWG vet hate of SOE around here for EQII.  Most EQ2 players are happy with the game and from personal experience from playing the game for almost 2 years I never had any SOE related issues with it.

I hope I do not come across as a drama hate spreading numpty.

I am just trying to be careful before I invest potentially years of my time into a new game.

Also testing out VGSOH at the mo.

Was not  trying to say that you were spreading hate or anything.  Just that for the most part the "OmFGZ!!! SoEz eatted ma babbiez they is teh suckz!!!!11111oneoneone." Thing isn't really the norm for EQII.  Most players enjoy and and don't have SOE isssues.

If you use it on a existin acccount then no you do not get 30 free days all expansions work in the same manner when WoW launched Burning Crusade you sure didn't get the 30 days free the only mmog I can think of that ever did that was old Asherons Call One when they launched there 2nd expansion I think they gave everyone 30 days.If you start a new acount then of course you get the 30 days but ONLY if it is a new account so you didn't research enough,But Eq2 is a good game alot of content more so than WoW and for the most part a more mature community.

I enjoy the game.  It's one of these games that you quit but can never quit for good.  I'm always coming back lol..

Having a blast.  AoC is an OK game... But I just can't take it.  I play a 80 raid tank SK.

Currently playing: World of Warcraft, Star Trek Online, Runes of Magic...

Played: If it was released I played it...
