Quick few Questions about EVE...

Hi I just started playing this game as some people know who read my post before, I find the EVE forums to be very hard to navigate so asking here.
I was doing level 4 missions with my mate and then a guy flew in and stole our loot but we didn't get kill rights for him even though he was taking all our stuff and I just wondered why?
Also Why can't I choose to PVP with someone in my fleet like mess around PVP in high sec, he has to take my cargo contrainer first and I just want a dual mode which doesn't effect standing or give you aggression.
If someone takes something of a fleet mates how come normally apart from the above does only he get kill rights and the fleet doesn't?

all mission wrecks belong to the guy who got the mission. also salvaging does not confer killrights, only looting. are you sure which one he was doing?
because it would be abused, if you could shoot someone without getting aggression i would be working hard on a way to use it to my advantage.there is a way of dueling as you have already noticed, take stuff from a can.
the victims' corp gets kill rights, if you are in your mates corp you can shoot the criminal. fleets dont have the same luck.

I joined a Milita and I asked for help where I could find the Agents for missions and all that happened was I got insulted lots of times and told to go back to WOW etc etc.
Just wondering Where Do I find kevel 1 high sec Militia Agents?

I guess it depends on where you ask the question...if you asked in the militia or militia corp channel, you may have gotten a somewhat less helpful response, heh...
Look at the corp info page for your militia (i.e. State Protectorate if you're Caldari) and look at their agents tab.
The Militias are for PvP, not PvE.
No wonder you got flamed. You don't join a 0.0 alliance and ask in alliance chat where you can farm best, without caring for the pvp, either. It's just rude.
And I want to do PVP but I'm new in a kestrel and don't esactly want to go into low sec space where it's all gate camped by Battlecruisers.......... I want to get used to the game and make money, not lose it all instantly.
Geez what's with this community it's horrible, just full of angry teenagers or something.

Don't be such an ass. He has a valid question. He never said he's not going to PVP (WTF would be the point) he just asked where the agents are so that when he DOES want to do missions he can. People like you give EVE players a bad name sometimes, Bat.

True, i was a bit harsh.
But the point still stands. Everyone in the militia wants some pvp. There are gangs open everytime, the people struggling for the trritory and for numbers in the various gangs, organizing the attack/defence. And then someone asks about how he can farm money with the fw agents. You can bet he won't get a good response out of it. As i said, if you joined an alliance and the first question you ask is where you can farm the most money, you can bet you'll be out of that alliance faster than you can kill one npc.
It's still most efficient to just hop into a speedy frig and x up in militia for a gang, and then listen to the fc. Somebody would probably dish out some starter money, too, if you are short on money.
that's why you need to find a good corp. eve university is pretty much just that -- a good corp that teaches new players the ropes, then you can stay or move on to other corps/alliances in-game.
posting on public eve forums either gets your idiotic fanboi responses or flames from people too ignorant to understand the engrishes.
could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
