I heard more players are coming to Shadowbane now then at the release

Im looking for an MMORPG with a steady population, I heard SB had more people coming to the game then people leaving the game now, but I heard lots of people left since release (my friend played Shadowbane for awhile).

So is the population rising or falling? Just curious image

FFXI- Quit after 10 months
Ultima Online- Quit after 25 months
Ragnarok Online- Quit after a week

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

    This weekend on the morning server there was 800+ , on the weekdays I have been seeing around 500 or less. There is way less people than there used to be. In the city of khar there used to be alot of people, it was easy to pick up a group. But now sometime you walk around the city and only see a handful of people. Most the population is 50+ it looks like. Player killing is definately more than at release, good luck walking around without a group :).

    I am not so sure about such a huge population increase, I sure haven't seen it. Population seemed to be declining for a while on the Mourning server, although it seems to be steadying now. There are so many fewer large nations than there used to be, it is sad. Dragonscale surely must be home to 1/4 of the characters on the server. Anyway... I cannot claim to be seeing the same thing as the author of this thread.

    Overall it does seem to be picking up... I wouldn't say there is a huge influx but I have seen allot of new people on the 3 servers that I play on.

    I have been playing since beta.  I have come and gone over the last year leaving for a month or two twice.  After each new expansion or big patch the population seems to rise then fades as game play lingers or the world is too full for expansion.  With the word of a new expansion coming out around EQ2 release I expect the number of peeps to stay about the same.  Shadopwbane would have died without it.

    EQ2 will not affect SB population. SB is devoted to an entirely different type of gamer that EQ2 is.

    there are still a lot of people in K'har there on average 50 people at once. I have no problem finding what I want to buy and I have no problem selling. There are usually about 630 - 789 people on at any time here or there. Vengence is the popular server and mourning is second in population. So if you are looking at coming back do it, people are still here, especially with the new exp coming out.

    Note: NECROMANCER IS GONNA BE A NEW CLASS YAYAYAYAYAYAYA, also there a new vampire race also. Also there gonna be a new nightstalker class out. so if you are thinking of coming back do it i think that there will be an increase of popultaion once the new expansion comes out, hopefully it will be something that will improve the games gameplay and the grafix like they said.
