They are "trying" to make it sound like there is no NDA. But there is.
I wonder tho.. If patch notes are on live-test forums ... and live-test forums is not under NDA... Why can't ppl not post about the patch notes ?
In other words. THe live-test forums are under NDA ? right ?

If the EULA or the TOS you sign do not plainly state that you are disallowed from commenting and discussing the product you PAY for and subscribe to, then you are free to discuss it. Access to the forums and the information is a part of the subscription you as a player pay for (Assuming you are a player.) If there is not a Disclosure segment attached to either, they can not disallow open discussion of the information you pay to have access to.
Ye - actually ppl are starting to answer back on the official forums about the obvious failure of this "system".
Well - its the same with this system as everything else in AOC. Its not working at all.
The last thread on this seems to have disappeared.

Nophex the QA Manager and the head guy over on the testlive forums has responded to this and said there is no NDA on anything on the testlive forums.
I would take the word of the QA manager over the word of a Moderator.

it looks like funcoms internal communication is as bad as their external communication.
The funny thing is the people who are saying they never signed an agreement. It should be obvious that the whole I idea of just saying X is under NDA is complete BS without actually having people sign something.
Without an "I Agree" there can be no agreement.
There is NO NDA ON THE TEST SERVER, confirmed numerous times by funcom mods.
The only thing they are doing is stopping the patch notes being copied to the official forums which will cause confusion because on a test server the NOTES ARE NOT FINAL.
if a player wants to see the patch notes they simply login the test server forum with the same login as the official forum.

It reminds me of something that George W Bush did during one of his speeches. He was using the old "Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" phrase. Except he did it like this:

Apparently the internal communication is taking tips from good ol' GW.
Sharum, a dev, already said the communication within Funcom was already majorly messed up.
