Well thanks for the post it made me laugh. Not sure I agree with the metaphor. I find it amusing since I am a college art professor. One of the classes I teach is art appreciation and today my lecture was on Van Gogh.
hypotheses have been put forward that state that Van Gough had bi-polar disorder as well as Ménière's disease which means basically a disorder affecting balance. Thats something pretty relevant to war... balance. Best get some battle rank going on and step over the line for insta buff.
On the other hand, Van Gough painted some of the most beautiful painting the world has ever known, (mythic making war look good) but he also went crazy in the process, (P.Barnett) cutting off his ear (EA to Mythic referance) and eventually shot himself. (M. Jacobs when EA takes control over war's popularity 1 year after release changing the game completly)
