GW release date 2/05?

i was recently in EBX the other day and when i saw the release date for Guild Wars it said sometime in Feb. 2005.  did they really push it back?

    umm, i dont think so.. well maybe, because the open beta hasnt even started yet, but i believe the open-beta will come around october....

    first of all it is an mmog, second i played it in e3 for everyone event it is a great game, and one of the best things is it has no monthly fee. its online only so yes that would make it a mmog. the update thing is very nice also it streams any patches/updates etc straight into the game while you are playing so it does not hamper gameplay. anyways for the release date its established as 05/30/05.

    Guild Wars is still scheduled to release 02/05/05.  February 05, 2005.  Thay is still the release date that EB has for it as of saturday, September 11, 2004

    and EB has never been wrong? actually i have noticed they are almost always wrong...dont trust the store, they always change dates and dont update their little datebook. i would go by the website.

    Gamespy still lists it as Feb 7, 2005 so it isn't JUST EB that is using the date.  Only ArenaNet  and the programmers know for sure.
