I'm thinking of playing, I need to know if the game is better then WoW, and please don't come on to flame this game because you happen to be a WoWcculight.
Yours Sincerely,

Yeah! this game is one of the best i have ever tried, it kinds of feels like playing wow and EQ2 at the same time.. and theres no Zoning like in wow.
Although the game is designed more for coregamers, like opposite of wow (cusual gamers).
So if you are a solo player, it may become really boring .
if you are bored of wow, and love to group and want a little more challange, than you should try it out .
Thanks for you response and double thanks for not being a wowcculite.
Yours Sincerely,
The Immortal One
Its not a bad game, however if you are looking for pvp, best avoid this game.
I've only played it for a few days but I like it so far. I used a buddy key but I plan to buy a CE addition this week.
My only complaints so far besides random fps drop would be the character customization is probably the worst I have seen in a game (well besides f2p games). But it is not a big deal for me. The game play is very fluid and fun and the graphics are decent.
Seems like something I will enjoy while I wait for WAR.
Im addicted to the game, that says alot.
Char custome will come with GU6...so probably in a month.
That is what I red. Ordered the CE from ebay today hopefully I get it before my buddy key runs out.
I dunno, hard to say whether it's better or worse, no doubt everyone will think different things!
The graphics are much better than in WoW (although graphics aren't supposed to be realistic in WoW) but still, VG is way nicer to look at.
VG has more races + classes to choose from, and most are hybrids to some degree, like the healers also fight (apart from Blood mage) which is nice.
However, the PvP is virtually non existant, so if you liked the PvP in wow and think you wouldn't be able to live without it, maybe think twice, although VG has a lot more dungeons to explore, which are my favourite way of levelling, so I don't really need pvp, although it would be nice!
+ there is diplomacy, which you could spend hours doing if you so chose! Probably take longer to get to 50 diplomacy than 50 adventuring I'd say..
No factions in the way there is in WoW, as in no good vs evil.
MASSIVE seemless map, rather than zones and instances, as there is in wwow. For that reason the performance takes a slight hit, depending on your PC.
Crafting in VG is way more complex. There's a little mini game, and you can make your goods better depending on how well you play.
You'd really have to test out VG to make your own decision, but the only other game I have really played fully is WoW (pre BC), and I think VG is an excellent alternative

Hello!
Yeah people gotta have in mind VG is a PVE game not a PVP game...although there is a PVP server but right now they don't put much attention to it...for them PVE comes first.
Sillius mentioned they are working on a Infamy system to add some PVP to the game though....but that will probably come next year.
