Man... it's so expensive...

Decent graphics card that can run game- $150-175

Game- $50

Monthly fee- ???

Ack... $200 for me... I wish I could buy. I look forward to buying it in the future though, the game will be great!
FFXI sucks image

Ragnarok Online- Quit after a week

    you dont need a great card to run this game. Ask Kunou, when he went to mexico to sell his drugs and dump some dead bodies he was also invited to an EQ2 thingy with sony. They set crap computers up i guess to show people that eq2 still looks and plays good on low end cards.

    Ya, but i think his problem is the same problem i am having.

    Thats with pixel shader. Certain cards have it some dont.

    My Geforce 2 has it but my Geforce 4 TI doesn't. ::::37::

    And it's better to get a new card to look at the sweetness they talk about that you can see if u have it on high setting. ::::04::

     Does Kunou have a general idea of the system specs he played on? I had little faith in a P4 2.4ghz, 512mb ram, and a radeon 9800 Pro. If it could run with a decent fps, i just might buy this game.

    So are the grapics in EQ2 just as good as MoH Pacific Assault?  If they are, I'm screwed. I downloaded the demo and it said that my 128 Geforce4 MX 440 is not good enough.  I really don't want to go out and buy a new video card for $200+ when I only bought my computer a year ago.

    Youll need a decent videocard (radeon 9600 XT will do) if you dont want to lag.

    I dont believe that the MX 440 is supported at all be EQ2. It looks like you need a new gfx card.

    you can get one of the low end cards for not that much

    http://www.evga.com here is where you can see some of the nvidia cards and some are fairly inexpensive. i havent ever used ati radeon card so i dont know anything about them, dont have any info on that brand.

    dumb question....how do u see wat kinda video card u got, this is my dads comp...best one we got and wondering where i go to see wat kinda card he has

    You should be able to see it if assuming you have windows if you right click on your desktop, go to properties, then go to the settings tab. If you don't see it there, click on the advanced button in that same window and you should be able to figure it out.

    Go on ebay for a cheap but decent card. I got a Nvidia FX5200 128mb for $80 a few months ago...

    Now all I need is a better processor image

    start--->click run---->type dxdiag in the box and click ok----->click the display tab, and there it is, and the info on your computer stats like processor speed and memory are on the first page.
