Problem with screens

mike470mike470 General CorrespondentMember Posts: 2,396

Hello all,

I am having an odd problem with my modems.  I usually plug it into my laptop, and usually the screen just pops up and everything is okay.

BUT, for the last week, there is a problem.  For some reason whenever I connect the laptop and modem, it just says "no signal" or "input analog".  Everything is plugged in, and nothing should be broken.  I tried two screens I had, on two different computers, but they just don't work.

I really don't understand.  They were working fine a week ago.

Thanks for the help in advance, it is much appreciated.

I'm assuming you mean monitor not modem (I noticed you where filapino).  Normally there's a key combo you need to press to get the output to an external monitor. On my Dell there's a 'Fn' key and F8 is the LCD/CRT key. fo I hit Fn+F8 a couple of times to toggle between Laptop->Monoitor->Latop&Monitor->Laptop.

    This may work.
