The Divine Empire Hath Come

MolukaiMolukai Member Posts: 35

Hail to thee, one and all:

This is an official notice to all citizens of Qeynos that the Divine Empire has formed ranks once again upon Norrathian shores.  Formed long ago, only the relics that hath survived the last 493 years of destruction show the greatness that was known of this Empire.

At one point, the Empire's army was feared throughout the lands controlled by the wicked demon Lucan D'Lere.  The faction held together the Knights of Truth in Freeport, allowing the crusaders there to withstand the incredible corruption that was ramplant in that city.  However, nearly 496 years ago the Divine Empire sent massive armies to vanquish the evil that had been incoming from the East, from the lands of Albion... It was during that time that Lucan found the best to strike, and his trickery led to the entrapment of all the Knights and Clerics of Truth in the accursed underground city of Befallen.  When the knights have returned, badly wounded in their fight against the heathens that they called Hibernians and the Midgardians, they saw a truly sad scene.  Their home of Freeport was fallen, and the world has clearly degenerated.

Supreme Commander of the Divine forces, Heavenly Knight Molukai made the fateful order to the legions of the Divine Empire.  To evacuate the lands of Norrath, and return after we have regained our strength.  Now is that time.  Nearly 500 years later, the forces have returned, and suprisingly Molukai still leads them.  Not unlike Lucan, Molukai also seems to possess immortality... although none dare ask why this is so.   Many heroes join his side, old and new.  Of them includes a brilliant military strategist, Yates, leading the Empire's forces on campaigns against evil.   Back in the lands of Albion heathens that dared attack the Empire trembled as Lord General of the Empire Yates sent massive shards of ice raining down upon them, impaling them into helplessness as the highly organized Empire infantry marched onward as the executioners of evil.

Now, the Empire asks you if you hear the call.  Would you join the ranks of the mighty Divine Empire, and on behalf of the old Gods of goodness such as Tunare...Mithaniel Marr...Karana... fight to destroy the evil that enthralls Freeport?  To destroy the wicked arch-lich Lucan D'Lere, butcher and also criminal against the Empire?  The Empire has organized their base in Qeynos, and are preparing to launch their massive campaign to vanquish all the evils that plague Norrath.  Much is to be done, says Molukai, and it can not be done without the assistance of brave soldiers.

If you feel that you hear the call, consider the following:

  • Do you want to be part of a strong organization with a leadership that cares unconditionally for its membership?
  • Do you want to experience both the feeling of being part of an all-around active community as well at the same time a viable fighting group?
  • Do you want to obtain strength in numbers, levels, and in gear to help better prepare you for the day of the final battle against evil?
  • Do you want to have fun?
  • Do you want to feel respected, as well as be able to give respect to your superiors?

If you said no to any of the above questions, then look away now.  The Divine Empire has no need for you.  That might sound arrogant, but the Empire does need not waste its time with people that are not willing to contribute fully to the success of the Empire.  However, our organization is like a community asides from a highly skilled fighting machine for the side of good.  Our ranks consists of all sorts people including the following:

  • People that do not spend endless hours awake, fighting the restless demons of darkness
  • People that spend most of their time gaining skill in crafting for the Empire
  • Socializers that contribute to the feeling of community within the Empire
  • and much more...

Please realize the Empire, unlike other guilds, is fully well-rounded.  We encourage all of our member citizens to do what they enjoy doing best, but at the same time able to follow orders of their superior officers.  If you can't follow orders, then do not join.  Orders made are done so in the best interest of the Empire, and thus all the members.  The leadership toils night and day to make sure that the Empire runs smoothly, and has a balance of enjoyment as well as structure for its membership.

Love your God(s), your Nation, your loved ones, and the Empire.  Believe in those ideals and you are what we look for.

If you are still interested in joining our ranks, then please by all means visit our website at http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=15487&TabID=130762 and post your interest on our post board (ooc: forums).  Best of luck to ye all!

New story!!  I address the nation over my trip to China!! image

(To everyone unfamiliar with our guild's "roleplay" stories, it is set with the Divine Empire, in itself an affiliated nation under the jurisdiction of Qeynos (but autonomous) warring against Freeport (like Qeynos).  However, aspects of other games and of real life, specifically land territories, may exist in our storylines.  So, if we mention the lands of Albion or China, we don't mean totally made up lands.)
